The smaller maps have seemed to intrigue the fanbase more than the contentious large maps that Infinity Ward puts tons of money into. This should more than please the fanbase now. They also...
The title should be changed to The Day After. This looked like a world in the final stages of a boring apocalyptic attack and the remaining zombies just gave up. The release date was pushed back from March 1 to November 10 of this year. From the looks of the gameplay trailer we now know why. The development team has a ton of work to do if they actually decide to release it this year. The trailer was a walking simulator in an empty world that decided to pay the light bill.
Release: November 10th

Huge layoffs at 343 Industries has completely wiped any chance of a DLC story expansion coming into fruition. Fans have not been happy with 343 Industries since release and now things are taking a massive turn. Bloomberg suggests that 95 employees were laid off, including a top director who had a massive role in the studio. This seems to be the beginning of the end for Halo Infinite which did not fare well with fans from the jump. The game could never really get off of the tarmac and it seems this the jumpstart to the next Halo.
343 Industries and Certain Affinity will be working together on making a new Halo that will be on the Unreal Engine. Internal documents show that the code name for the next Halo is Tankanka. There is smoke...

Twitch has come a long way since it's introduction to the gaming world, and we are all grateful for their services. They have thousands of games where players can stream and show other users what happens within the game they are playing at the time. Some play very popular games like league of legends and call of duty while others will stream super Mario bros because they have a sort of nostalgia when it comes to gaming. Obviously, the more popular the game, the more viewers you usually will get when streaming. Some gamers even make a full-time income when it comes to streaming. They will receive donations from their viewers in sums of $1 to the highest I've seen at $500 just for playing a video game and interacting with their...
Fornite hit the scene with a wave of followers almost overnight. It had close to 10,000,000 active PvP players in less than 2 months, so we know they are doing something right! Fornites battle royale mode is free to play, so that could have something to do with its overnight success. With this many people playing an amazing game, you will need a competitive edge in order to win. I'm not talking about purchasing any type of weapons or gear in order to have a damage or defense boost, I'm talking about strategies you can use in order to get that last man standing #1 placement.
If you aren't familiar with Fortnite, it's a battle royal type game where you can go in as a solo player, a duo with you and a friend or a squad of 4 and try to...
PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS, or PUBG as most of us call it, is a survival type game that is extremely competitive. The game was developed, and still being worked on, by Bluehole and Brendan Greene holding the reigns as the creative director of everything. PUBG is the first standalone game that Brendan Greene has spear headed.
When you start out, you're dropped into an island that measures roughly 8x8km. The area is open and extremely vast, but get smaller as time goes on due to the games interesting feature of reducing it's map size with a "blue wall of death" that pushes players closer to the center of the map as time goes on. If there wasn't a blue wall of death, the games could be extremely long since the map is so large and...
Most of the gaming world has heard of the game Destiny launched by Bungie. Well they recently launched Destiny 2 and it seems to be getting repetitive after just 2 weeks of playing. I myself had logged thousands of hours playing the first Destiny, and I love it a lot. I would run raids with my clan, play iron banner with friends and even go flawless with some other elite PvP players in my friends list every weekend. Sadly, the first Destiny has not come to an end but it did pave way for the second one to take over.
So why is it already getting repetitive?
After the first week of play I was already at power level 275 and other people in my friends list were nearing 290 to 295. The weekly reset just kicked in and I'm already power...
In PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, players can purchase crates with in-game currency. Two types of crates are available at all times, and limited edition variants pop up from time to time. Players can only purchase six crates with increasing costs on a weekly basis. Therefore, rare in-game items are worth a lot of money on the Steam Marketplace. The popular coat item hovers around $100 for purchase on the Marketplace, even though it can be obtained without spending physical money. Battle Points are required to purchase crates, so players want to accumulate as many points as possible.
Weekly Crate Costs:
Crate #1: 700 BP
Crate #2: 1,400 BP
Crate #3: 2,800 BP
Crate #4: 4,200 BP
Crate #5: 5,600 BP
Crate #6: 7,000 BP
Over 20,000 Battle...
Have you considered stepping into virtual reality? There is no other way that I could word the question, as after I first put the headset on - I was immediately transported into another world. At least that was the sensation.
I have always been fanatical about video games; it is a genuine passion of mine and so I can confidently say that virtual reality is an absolute dream come true for me. If you enjoy games, then I would tell you to jump feet first into virtual reality as it truly is a no-brainer - however, for the more reserved out there, or perhaps for those who are not interested in games, is it really worth your time?
I encourage everyone I can to try VR before passing judgment on it. Not everyone enjoys shoot ‘em ups or space...
Dating back to 1972, taking place at Stanford University, was a small tournament for the game "Spacewar". Who could have guessed that in 2017, competitive video gaming (aka eSports) would sell out massive arenas like the Staples Center or Madison Square Garden for its tournaments and explode into the billion dollar industry it has become?
It was hard to see this coming. Through online games in the early 2000's such as a Counter-Strike: Source, Starcraft, and Warcraft, eSports has been around for awhile now. Tournaments springing up throughout various states and various gaming conventions, eSports would humbly make its course through America and start to leave its mark. Early on, spectators spanned anywhere from tens to hundreds. There...
It seems like the well known segregated players of Xbox Live and Playstation Network will finally come together to end that divergence that started more than a decade ago. As stated by Chris Charla Director of ID Xbox in a post published by the month of March (2016) on the official Xbox news portal, players of different platforms will now be able to play together without any restriction.
"First, in addition to natively supporting cross-platform play between Xbox One and Windows 10 games that use Xbox Live, we’re enabling developers to support cross-network play as well. This means players on Xbox One and Windows 10 using Xbox Live will be able to play with players on different online multiplayer networks – including other console and...
