How quickly do you go through headsets?

My headset has kept for a long time. I haven't had to replace it at all. This is my first headset, and the condition of the item is still perfect.

I had used a beats head phone for a while since my computer had a built in microphone, that head phone set lasted me about 3 years until I recently accidentally snapped it in half by dropping it down my stairs. Now I have a new gaming headset with a microphone and it's fairly new, currently I have to wait and see how long it lasts.

Hah! Go through headsets? Sounds like some sort of joke. I wait until mine are at least made of 50% duct tape before replacing them!
