What was your highest ranked reached in any one game?

I'm pretty mediocre at most online games. I only have ever been capable of reaching the average. I could do better, as could anyone who is average if they had more time to dedicate to the game and honing necessary skills but we don't. That being said, I'm pretty comfy in Gold on Overwatch (Gold...

    Favorite Nintendo Console?

Nintendo handhelds have always been excellent pieces of equipment. I'd argue better than their consoles recently. The Wii and Wii U seemed lackluster, but anything that can play 3DS hardware is quite good. I have a 2DS, and I want the horribly named New 2DS, but the fact that the 3DS keep...

What type of game Should we suggest to our parents?

Something that's not very noisy visually, since my parents aren't the biggest gamers, I don't want them to get confused. My dad used to play Mario, and Mario isn't very busy with it's visuals, they tend to be clear to help the player, so Probably Mario and other platformers. It's easy to tell...

What is your favorite weapon across all FPS games?

The Shotgun in Doom. in the older ones, it's a destructive weapon that a lot of time went into getting the proper feel for it's power, the well done reload animation and sound. And in the new one, it does everything you want a gun to do, deal lots of damage close up so you can heal without...

    How many hours?

Recently I can play games like hearthstone or Gwent for not very long each day and still accomplish a good bit, for larger, more expansive games like the Witcher or GTA, i like to set a good chunk of time aside for them. So what game I play really depends on what it is I have to do that day.

    What's in your console?

My Xbox One has the Witcher 3 in it. I think the last game I played on it was Overwatch though.

WHAT GAME YOU CAN NOT FORGET?

There are probably a lot of them that I won't forget, but the one that comes to mind first is Metal Gear Solid 3. It's the first time I was entranced by a game's story and it's gameplay at the same time. It was also the first Metal Gear Solid game I've played, a series I still consider my favorite.

Post your favorite Nintendo Games here

Super Mario Galaxy 2. Probably the best 3D Mario, definitely one of the best Marios period. Varied concepts, fun usage of the Wii controls while being accurate, Mario feels comfy to control (after decades of getting it right, they get it right again. Streamlined everything. Everything in the...

    For the PSP Hackers

One of the best parts about the PSP was that it could easily emulate the GBA. My PSP was stolen, but it had some decent games that weren't available on other devices, and had some interesting mods that were worked out by the end of it's lifespan. I kind of miss mine, but it probably wouldn't...

    Current CPU?

I'm using an AMD FX-6300, like the OP. It was less than 100 dollars and it does a decent job playing the stuff that I'm interested in playing. I wouldn't opt for it if I had lots of money, of course, but most people aren't in that situation.

Most Disappointing Video Game Ending You have played? (spoilers, obviously)

It's a downer, but I don't think it's unfitting for the game or even the story (including the books), so I'm not sure if I could call it a 'disappointment' if you end up getting that ending. The books paint Ciri as the great treasure, similar to the Holy Grail or items like that, and searching...

    Changes in gaming

I don't have a problem with poor graphics, but the good games of the past that still hold up well in today's time inform today's gameplay. 3d platforming hasn't changed much because the earlier games got it so right. FPS gameplay hasn't changed dramatically because the games of the past found...

    Wired or wireless controller?

I actually like Wired controllers. They're cheaper, and when the batteries get low on wireless controllers, inputs kind of slow down, and it messes with the experience and makes some games unplayable. I'd rather have a wired controller than a wireless one. This may mean in the future I'll need...

    Favorite music from which game?

I enjoy the Music in the Witcher games. It's new remixes of old East European hymns and chants to match the tone of the game. It feels appropriate and it's exciting to play with that music during combat.

What releases are you looking forward to?

I really want to pick up the Nintendo console because I want to play Mario Odessey. I haven't been keeping up too much with new releases, but as a child, I enjoyed the Kingdom Hearts games, so I want to play the Kingdom Hearts 3, even though the older games don't hold up too well.

How often do you buy new games?

I just buy one whenever I have a comfortable bit of money. I tend not to buy games new or full priced, usually only on sale or pre-owned, so I don't buy games often, but I tend to get a couple at a time because of the reduced prices. Steam sales are good, and so are picking up older games at...

    Last Game Played?

Overwatch and The Witcher 3. Both of them are lovely, well-made, well-polished pieces of art. The Witcher games quickly became some of my favorites and Overwatch is so well made it's hard to be put off by it's charm

    Generic Keyboards or Mechanical Keyboards

The tactile feel of a Mechanical Keyboard is the best, and you can have that feeling without the excessive clicky-ness if you buy some O-rings to accompany the keyboard. I don't have a problem with membrane keyboards, I'm using one now, but I prefer mechanical ones. Mechanical keyboards do tend...

    Pokemon Games

I used to love to play Pokemon, but not having a Nintendo handheld for years leaves me incapable of keeping up with or understanding new Pokemon. I used to play semi-competitively online during the 3rd generation and for the beginning of the 4th, but since I always used someone else's Nintendo...

Do you prefer using a keyboard and mouse or a controller?

Different Genres lend themselves to different control schemes. Fighting games are best used with one of those arcade gamepads. Racing games are better with a controller or some type of controller with pressure sensitive buttons and a joystick. Shooters and MMOs are probably better with a Mouse...
