Do you mostly focus on PvE or PvP or do you do both?

When I raided, I mostly focused on that.

I later switched to doing mainly PvP. Randoms got old though. PvP is SO much more fun when you play with the same people on a regular basis (kinda like raiding is, lol).

PvE for me. I can't stand PvP, mostly because of the community (LFR has idiotic people too, but not as many, or so I find it) and because I don't find it fun. PvE feels amazing, because it implies working together with pretty much strangers you've never met in real life in order to reach a goal.

I am def the guy to go around and blast a few enemy's well at the same time going on content raids.

Best of both worlds.

I do both as well.

PvE can be really enjoyable as a social thing with your friends. It gives you and your crew a reason to hang out, some goals to achieve, and some memories to create.

PvP, on the other hand, can be a little brutal and unforgiving. Although, with Warlords, they have really upped the ante. It's great that the time to kill has been extended by such a great deal, and with more skills being consolidated, PvP has become much more manageable. Oh, and the fact that they have greatly reduced crowd control is a godsend. It was getting way, way out of hand before.

I am more into PvE because I get more than enough PvP in real life. Besides, my reflexes are not that good, so if I go for PvP, I will lose every time.

PvE, for me, has quite a lot of attractions. I get to go and explore places. I get to figure things out. It's more a mental challenge. And I like mental challenges.

I can't give much input because I'm fairly new to WoW. I was against the subscription for years and my husband finally talked me into it.
I really enjoy both PvP and PvE. I want to say PvP wins this battle though.

For a little back story, Zach, my husband, talked me into WoW and he's hardcore into PvP nowadays. The main reason to get me to subscribe was so I could PvP with him. I leveled and started PvPing with him and really enjoy it.
I've not had too much PvE experience in WoW currently. I've done dungeons and a couple heroics. I enjoy it but I don't have a major opinion on it because I don't have too much experience on the WoW side of it.

I really enjoyed PvE in others games though. This is the first time I've ever put much time and effort into PvP.

A balance between both PvE and PvP is what keeps me interested in playing the game.
I find PvP to be stressful sometimes, with the increased heart rate and adrenaline pumping. You can't beat that unpredictability in PvP which you only get from versing another human in my opinion. I like the aspect of needing quick reactions and quick thinking to best your opponent. I agree that playing with people you know, or regularly interact with makes PvP much more enjoyable.
PvE involves a lot more of the game content such as exploring and problem solving which is great to relax to. Also, playing with a group of friends makes this much more fun as well.
Both have their pros and cons, so I find switching between the two keeps me interested in playing for longer.

I focus mainly on PvE. I just love a good story so I tend to lean that way. I played Pvp P in a couple of games but I'm not a fan of getting my butt whipped by more experienced players for hours on end. I usually give PvP a try after I've maxed out my character of if I finished the story. For some reason, it just made no difference.

I always did both as well. When I raided, it was my focus, but I still did PvP on the side. One toon I leveled completely through PvP and always had it as my "side toon." I didn't get into any rated PvP until after I stopped raiding though. My new guild does both, so I may take up PvE again at some point, as a sub maybe.

PvE was fun at first, but the quests got too repetitive. PvP was always fun because I never knew what to expect.

I play a little bit of both, mostly PvP though. I just do the LFR content to see the new bosses and get some loot. After that, it's back to PvP. I would actually be interested in trying out the harder PvE content, but I don't really want to bother with finding a good guild and following raid schedules.

You've yet to do one rated battleground or arena this season :(

I'm more fond of PvE. I find that when I PvP, I come into situations where I'm doing little to no damage to the other person. However, in PvE situations, I usually land in the top 5 - top 10 highest DPS done. I also enjoy the "Raid Scene" far more than the "Battleground scene" partly for the backround / boss mechanics.

PvE definitely. There's just so much content to explore, which you can do on your own. PvP sounds insanely fun but it also sounds incredibly stressful to me! I definitely don't have the gear to be nearly a match in any PvP fight.

I have always been an avid PvP Player. Currently sitting at 200k HK's and many, many characters. I just wish I could get a new pc to run PvE content as it should

I started out as a PvP player. To this day, I think that PvP is the core of the game, the most fun aspect of it and someone that every WoW player should try. That being said I played a lot more PvE just because I didin't like the pressure of PvP. I reserve that for SC2 :D

When I started, I was hardcore into raiding, I was even thinking about strategies while at school. But lately I have switched to PVP, because a lot of my old raiding buddies have quitted, and you don't have to search for a decent group for PVP.

Well, I've been playing WoW on and off since Vanilla and I remember that I used to love to PVP but then I've begun raiding - my true love. I got so addicted to doing those 40 man raids, haha. I never PVPed anymore. I devoted my time to PVE side of WoW and stuck to that.

For example, ever since I began playing and till now, I've only done like 5 or 6 arenas. I just much prefer PVE - raids, dungeons, pugs, mythics and questing.

I'd probably get too stressed out doing PVP and dying :p

Depend on the time of expansion really. In the openning of the expansion i dont't play PvP at all, I'm mostly crazy about lore and staff, but soon as I expirience all the content i switch to PvP. That way I dont get bored at all. When i started i tried to play just one or other but sooner or later you get drained and bored. maybe that's just me...I also enjoy playing a lot of alts, that's not good tho -.-
