I've played a lot of games in my time and I can truthfully said that I have never come across a game that was to hard. A game doesn't even come to mind for the hardest game I have ever played :/

You are definitely right. It took me so long to get used to this game. I was playing this game when I was still at the University. I remember how I was struggling but fortunately my friends helped me. Counter Strike is definitely not an easy game.
Most of the highest level ones online have some sort of cheat or mod to help aim anyway. It's common knowledge and because of autoaim installed while playing, hacks and other cheats, it's not that hard to go through the ranks against online players that just play casually. Can't blame them though, being high on a list of something and looking down on all the players under you can feel great, even if you didn't earn anything in your spot. But hey, what matters is the end, not the journey huh?

Outlast Man. It's not a hard game to play, but it's just so hard to gather enough confidence and fearless to play the game properly. I can't get past the second monster where you have to hide underneath the bed just because it's so scary when he catches you and you have to run for your life. I can't bear it

The hardest game I've ever played would have to be Uncharted 4 on hard mode. It ended up taking me a whole week just to beat the final boss.

Hi, Pokem the hardest game I have ever played was Super Mario World, maybe you will laugh about this but I could never get past the balloon level where you dodge the footballs. In the end, I gave up on playing it and started a new game, but I have regrets because Mario was my favorite game!

This question itself is really hard for me to answer going by the fact that I have had encountered challenges at different stages in many popular games. Basically many games not just one are hard for me. But for sake of giving a fine answer to this question I will pick the hardest of all. And this game is Assassin creed... I know this might sounds funny to some but the truth is I abandoned the game because it is too hard for me. Although I found it to be so challenging and that makes it more fun for me. I still go back to it when I have the opportunity but it's hard really.

The hardest game I have played recently was Call of duty world at war, that game was tough I managed to finish it in a week, the game had old school guns and type of grenades so if like me you play at the veteran level this game becomes impossible to finish but with utmost dedication I was able to end it.

For me there is not a single hardest game, just a hardest genre: adventure games and their damn puzzles. Maybe I'm just too dumb, I don't know, but I never finished a point and click game without looking for solutions on Internet. Even the easiest ones... So, for me the hardest game is literally any game in this genre, with maybe a little few exception.

The hardest game I have ever played was Prince of Percia, although I don't like adventure games that much, that might be the reason why I thought it was hard

Sands of Time? I loved that game as a kid. Only hard part for me was when you had to fight the vultures (or the bird enemies) that strike you and fly away before you can strike back. I didn't know back then that you could parry their attacks so I mostly had to dodge and take the hits and hope a healing area is nearby. Spoiler alert, it wasn't. I died a lot of times in that part of the game.

I was once playing a computer game called the Neverhood. Even though it was a lot of fun, I wasn't very good at the logic contained in the game. I could only get so far in it. I had another game something like that I was playing on the Kindle although I don't remember the name of it. You could get so far and then you would be stuck in the game and unable to move on.

I think it was Half life 1 when I had to play to against monsters there and find ways to finish stages.
But when I finish this game I felt it was really great!

Yes, I think there is a certain sense of accomplishment when you are able to master a hard game, but it can certainly be frustrating getting there!

Oh my god, don't even get me started on the Japanese Bullet Hell series of Touhou. The levels there are virtually impossible.

Which is why we love hard games. I remember playing HL1 and being scared of the monsters and then combined with the difficulty... Man, that was tough. But, the sense of accomplishment is great. I haven't played a game like that in a long while, modern games should definitely take something from those old school games in terms of toughness.

Hmmm.
This may seem funny but the hardest game I ever played is Flappy Bird. Lol
The game was so difficult for me to the extent that I tagged it as 'useless'/ 'worst' game ever.

I am wondering about some of these RPG games like Everquest. I don't think there is really an end to them is there? Don't they just go on and on?
Some people can completely lose themselves in that world so I have heard.

I agree most of the puzzle games out there are like that. It's not easy to solve them. I know some of such games on Android. And playing them can be fun. But it's not easy to manage those games. You have to work really hard to keep those sort of games going on these days. I have found that a bit harder.

Well since it recently came out a new game from Edmund McMillen, I remembered that awesome platform known as Super Meat Boy. It's good, but it's so freaking hard! And his new game The End is Nigh is even worst, even harder, even more frustrating, even more impossible!
And the hardest thing about those games is to explain why I like them so much! Maybe I'm masochist..
