With the advent of technology there has been a massive growth in development of gaming consoles. The modern ones are pretty fast with excellent graphics and screen display. There is no doubt that the level of gaming has considerably risen over all these years.

So now do you still use your PC for gaming purposes?

PC is all I use now for gaming, having to invest in both a console and a PC is too much, so better to pile it all into one device.

Yes, games that I still play on PC are CS:GO, NBA 2K Online Taiwan, Pangya, Ragnarok Private Server and Dota 2. These games can't be played on Consoles, and I'm in favor or PC games rather than Console games.

I know that many people still uses the computer to play games. Nowadays I play games most on the PlayStation. I think I am more used to the PlayStation since I have been playing games on it for many years now. Also I find it easier to play the games on the PlayStation rather than the PC.

That is good that you are still using a PC. There is no doubt that gaming consoles are an expensive product so it is always wise to opt for limited gaming mediums.

Playing games on a PlayStation is far easy and convenient rather than playing on a PC. The best part for me is that I don't have to sit on the computer chair for playing games with it.

Once one gets used to PlayStation it becomes hard to play games on PC.

All of my gaming is from my PC. I do not have a console so I cannot really say much about the difference between them. I feel that the money I would use to purchase a console would be used better in buying parts to upgrade my PC.

I used to think that the PC is a "master race" when it comes to gaming. Now I am not that sure. I don't use consoles but as you said, the technology is rapidly improving that, in case of the PCs if you have the specs for this years new games, chances are that you wouldn't have them for the next years new games. With consoles is different. You buy a console, and you get what you get. Which is better today I think. But I can't afford neither yet, but am looking forward to improving my PC soon.

Honestly I can't afford switching to every new console that comes into the market. And in such case the games on the PC are lot cheaper. As you can see there are times when we are playing the game and we need more CPU and GPU cycles. It'd not be easy to even possible for me to buy controllers these days. So I'd stick with the PC or laptop for now.

I sure do use my PC! I have an Xbox One, but I still use my PC. It's just way more comfortable to use one device for everything. So a PC is perfect for that. However, I do use my Xbox for some games that are either not supported, or are just too expensive to buy them twice.

I use both PC and console. Many of the games I want or prefer to play are simply just unavailable on PC, and even if I could get everything on PC, I honestly prefer having options outside of computers anyway for various reasons (for example, I'm away from home very often, so in that regard the 3DS is nice). I have no issues actually running games on my computer (it's a desktop), but I view it as a work machine before I view it as a gaming machine.

Yes, I do because they are the cheaper alternative for me now. And that's not even getting into the other ways you get a better value with PC. While console platforms are catching up, PC gaming platforms like Steam and Origin are much quicker to offer sales and discounts than their console counterparts. I can buy "Tomb Raider" on Steam for $19.99, while the Xbox Live store only offers the "Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition" for $29.99.

I still continue using my PC to play games, due to the game availability. Many of the games that I really enjoy playing are only available on the PC platform, so I choose to stick with my PC for the majority of my gaming. In addition, console games may cost up to double the cost of some PC games that we can find on platforms such as Steam. As consoles develop, I'm sure that many people will start switching over to them due to newer technological functions and games.

Yes, I still use my computer for gaming. I also love playing my PS4 but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy the games on PC anymore.

My PC is around mid range budget so it can still run the majority of the newer games on good settings. It is true that consoles are more convenient since you don't need to constantly upgrade them but still. I love computer gaming - it is different than consoles because mouse and keyboard give you a different feel. For example, a FPS on the computer is FAR superior than on a console (at least for me). I don't think that I will ever not play computer games, I am too used to them by now.

Of course I still use it for that purpose it's the only way to play League of Legends :tongueout:, regular console games I don't play on PC but I use it a lot to play emulated games because I'm a big fan of the classics from the PS1 and Super Nintendo.

Yes, I have some fantastic games downloaded on my Personal Computer, but I equally go out sharing and playing games with colleagues and neighbours using other tools. At leisure, I invite others to join me at home sharing games using my PC.

Although I use my Play Station 4 more often, I still use my computer to play on some occasions. I really enjoy playing Conter Strike on my computer and I even prefer to play it on my computer than in any other video game.

I only use PC for gaming. Other platforms are just lame for gaming compared to PC.

What else would I use it for, and what device will I use that will provide the same (if better) gaming experience than the PC? I've always been a PC gamer, and I don't think that will change anytime soon. Easier controls, better hardware, emulators if you are into that, and all other stuff that you can only dream of doing on consoles or even mobile devices. The only downside of a PC is its size and mobility, so if you are not on the road a lot, then PC will still be the better choice when trying to decide what to get for your gaming needs.

Yes, even though there are huge advancements on modern consoles. I think that I would still prefer PC over consoles. For the price the PC is more expensive but being able to do more than just play games justifies the price. Also the PC is more versatile when it comes to games. It can emulate old consoles and you can play whatever classic games you want.
