Rate Minecraft out of 10? i need to know before i download it..please

In my opinion, I'd rate it a solid 8. At least for the PC version.
In Minecraft, you can do basically anything you want. Really. It has loads of content. As if all the content it has wasn't enough, it's still in development.
That means that many more updates are upcoming. If the vanilla game is too boring for you, why not download some mods? Mods can add so much to your game, ranging from simple crafting edits to entirely new game mechanics.
If you're tired of building from the ground up, you can try downloading some maps. You can download adventure, parkour, horror, or even just artistic maps.
Though that's just my opinion. Many big websites also recommend it. IGN gives it a 9/10, PC Gamer gives it a 9.6/10, and Gamespot gives it an 8.5/10.
So yes, I highly recommend you get it.

Well, I don’t really play Minecraft anymore but I can still rate it being someone who has played Minecraft for quite some time beforehand. If you’re going to just play vanilla MC, it isn’t very fun, maybe on servers it might but alone, it isn’t. I find mods are the best part of MC, it shows how well people can customise the game and create a more fun experience with new items and concepts. Obviously you should buy it as it’s great which is why I rate it a 7/10 for someone into sandbox like games.

If you're like me who gets motion sick a lot because of head bob/ first person perspectives, then you might steer clear from this one. Don't get me wrong, I think the game is great, but I watched someone play this and I couldn't even stay for a few minutes without feeling dizzy. I don't know if you can fix it by adjusting the FOV or a head bob animation option, but right now I'm just happy with my other adventure games - none of which give me motion sickness.

9 for me! I loved it when I was younger (and I secretly still do). My brother gave it for my birthday (I have no idea what year) and I've been playing countless hours. You should buy it! If you don't, you're missing out

I would probably give it a 9 out of 10, it is a really good game in itself. If you are tired of playing it you can always add different mods to add much more content to the game for free.

I would give it an 8. It's fun to play as long as your with your friends; if you're alone then it kind of gets boring after a while. It's generally a fun game and I think you would get your money's worth buying it unless you want to settle for clones that have half the functionality and immersion of the original game. You could also download mods/skins if you feel bored, you can even learn to design your own skin. The sky is the limit and who knows what great feature would be added next?

I like your review. Personally, I've never actually played Minecraft once in my life (lolwut). I've been handed a controller at a friends house once. But only messed around for 15 seconds max.

I've just never found gameplay nor the point of it interesting. Though, you're review does spark interest in me giving it a try.

Don't worry...The game definitely will have a higher average than this. Minecraft is not so good to have such a high note, but also doesn't deserve only a 6.0. :tongueout:

I'd not rate it more than 6. I think game is decent. But its not worth playing on for long enough time line. You have to just enjoy different servers and see different mods. That's all. At first few days it feels like addicted. And after that you may find that it's not much of a value in that case. Surely it can go wrong too.

I think that despite some problems and lack of originality (which is obviously not a good thing :sweat, the game deserves a rating higher than 6.0 because the good aspects are still a majority.

I think it kind of depends on what you're doing with it. If you just go in, play one of the game modes and that's all you ever experience from it, I'd probably give it like a 4 or 5 ranking. If you're willing to go out and download adventure maps and try out servers and things like this, I'd say it jumps to at least an 8. There's always something amusing about realizing people have made it so you can play CS:GO within Minecraft.

I think it all depends on your mindset. If you have no imagination or creativity then the game is going to be boring and a 1. But if you're very creative and have a vivid imagination then the game is going to be a 10+. There is just so much to do in the game that you never run out of stuff to do. My favorite things are mining and making massive caves and I also like exploration. And the world size is infinite it goes on forever. So you will always find space for new builds.

P.S. I highly recommend the game and I would rate it at a 10+

I would probably give it an 8/10. It's a creative, adventurous and open-world game where the possibilities are virtually endless. However, those possibilities do get repetitive (which is where Multiplayer servers come in when you are bored of the single player game mode) but even then, I think there could be even more variety in the style and types of games on Minecraft rather than just being the sandbox game that it is. I don't know how well to explain it but I think 8 is a pretty fair rating.

8/10 from me. It's a great game to explore and create anything you want. Sometimes I feel I can't create everything I want due to the blocky nature of the game but it's still an amazingly fun game. Whether you want o play just for creative purposes or if you want a challenge to survive while you build a base or something. I play on PC.
