Why is there no Dungeons and Dragons love?

I've been an amatuer D&D player for several years only ever playing a few games and never managing to finish one off. With that said i'd enjoy to see some love for the game to be brought to GR and could even bring it to the big men upstairs with the amount of support this thread is recieving.
