the Sims

I haven't played the Sims in quite awhile. I was debating on getting the latest one but I am still not sure.
I seen more negatives than positives on the game. Anyone on here plat it?

As stupid as it may sound, I still think the first Sims was the best. I just liked the ease of use and how fun it was to build a small neighborhood. I still remember the cheats too. I believe for Sims 1 it was Motherload to get a bunch of cash and for Sims 2 and 3 it was Rosebud. It could be the other way around though. Fun times! haha

I don't think it's stupid at all, The Sims is a great game franchise! I was looking at purchasing Sims 3 through Steam recently because it has a nostalgic effect for me. I used to play the Sims when I was in middle school and early high school, and I don't think I've played since high school. There also something really attractive about playing a game that's so laid back as the sims. It's not particularly competitive and doesn't keep you at the edge of your seat the entire time, which is really nice to step back with every once in a while.

I haven't played the Sims for a very long time. I have to admit that this was a very good game and I was quite addicted to this game. At a certain point in time, I even started using cheat codes. lol. I haven't played any of the new Sims games and can't really comment on this. This post of yours has reminded me of this game. I will try to see if I can purchase the latest version and try out the game.

I've been playing Sims 4 for a while now and it's really good. I haven't played the other Sims games though since I thought the genre wasn't my cup of tea but I tried playing the game when my roommate bought the game, and I really like the gameplay.
