Sounds great, I think being competitive is great but it would also annoy people who are not on the same level. I think there comes a point where you can only play on matched ones online with people on the same ratings as you, so you can at least have a decent chance of playing with people on your level.
Lol I'm the same at fighting games too. I just can't wrap around the idea of combos for some reason. I like hack and slash stuff, but to have to create a long combo for one move is just beyond me. I don't have either the patience to learn the new move nor the dedication to actually apply that move in battle outside practice mode.
Same. Fighting games have intricate combos that would be worthless if you mess up the 9th button out of a 10 combo sequence. I think the worst offender for me is Mortal Kombat for the fatalities, since it's a lot of combos and each time you get it right, the timer to get the next one in would be a lot faster. Although it looks cool, I just don't have the patience for that kind of stuff.
Yeah, just like all fighting games. The "Fatality" stuff where you beat up the losing character needs a ton of combos though. You can Youtube the stuff but it involves ripping the arms off, breaking the legs, neck, etc; until you basically destroy your enemy. it involves tons of combos that have faster sequences and it will end if you don't input the correct combo within the time limit.
I agree with you, If you love gaming so it's not enough to be like spectator, Take the challenge and enjoy even if you think that you are not a good gamer but step by step and by practice you will be one of them.
I am Ladyninja (think along the lines of Michelle Yeoh ). I love strong fearless female characters. I know right? I think they are are pretty awesome on and off screen. I just started to take a few karate lessons and the work that goes into each scene in combat games is incredible, to say the least.
