I was recently thinking of the Disney film "Wall-E" and what they depicted our society to be like in the (far off) future. People destroyed the planet to the point of it not being inhabitable, so they created robots to fix the planet and all the people went off to live in spaceships floating around outer space. Over the generations, people became so reliant on robots and glued to computer screens, that they just floated around in robotic chairs and only interacted through computer screens. All the people grew vastly overweight, unhealthy, and lost the ability to walk or interact in person. It seems far fetched, but think how reliant much of our society has become on technology and interacting through social media. I think it's not that far fetched after all. So, what do you think our society might be like in the future?

Well, the movie Wall-E gave a lot of fair points, people littered a lot and didn't care about the environment in that movie, as well as in the movie, they sorted around one large company producing everything for them, called Buy and Large or something. However, our environment is dieing slowly, which might mean we will have to move to Space, or somewhere near... Or we all just die. I believe this because, people are still littering, and dumping large loads of trash in places they shouldn't, as well as in Antartica and the North Pole, chunks of ice are breaking off and melting, causing water levels to rise. And people will criticize me for saying this (possibly) but this is all due to Global warming, the U.S Goverment seems to not care anymore due to a lot of the Presidents words and cutting of funds to groups that are trying to clean the earth. I see our future being dark, however for our earth to die, it would take years to accomplish, unless they make some new material or are dumping large quantities of trash at a certain area. But eventually our Earth will soon give up.
