Build or Buy your PC?

Did you build or buy your pc? Do you regret not doing the other?

I had mine bought for Christmas. I wish I could have just taken the money and built one that is better though.

Especially if you are aiming for something like an Alienware. You could save hundreds literally!

No way Zinc! Building a PC is MUCH cheaper than buying one that is pre-made. You get your moneys worth here.

I've lost track of how many PC's I have built. I used to go to the computer show in the state capital here just so I could buy parts that weren't on the market yet. Now though you can get one from Cyberpower and other companies cheaper than actually building it yourself. I actually calculated this to make sure. I may be wrong if you shop NewEgg or TigerDirect. I surely hope I am, because even if it's not cheaper I will still build one rather than buy one premade. It's a learning experience every time, because of changing technologies, and you get the satisfaction of telling your friends you built it yourself!
