I prefer desktops over laptop when it comes to gaming. I have a bigger monitor when compared to a laptop (of course you can plug your laptop to a monitor for better viewing experience). And the performance of a desktop is much better compared to a laptop.

I havent upgrade my system for about 2 years now. Last I did, I upgraded my monitor to a 21" one. Right now, I just dont have the cash but if I did I would be upgrading my HDD to a SSD but thats more like a want and not really needed.

I upgrade my PC once in a while. There is no frequency though. I only upgrade or replace parts when I need to because of lack of funds.

The oldest game I played on the PC is probably Diablo. I probably spent over a 100 hours playing this game. On the console would be Super mario.

I did do some "gambling" back then on DotA 2. Its exciting and really gets you invested in the game. I don't recommend it to anyone though and would only try it if I have extra money lying around.

Steam sales, free to play ccgs and limited time free games from steam is what my library is currently composed of now. I got a few games from the recent steam summer sale and I could say it was worth every buck since you get quality games at a high discount.

I don't really call mine rage quitting. If i feel frustrated or tilted, I take a break for a few minutes to a few hours to cool off. Its better than playing frustrated or feeling tilted and misplaying a lot which would snowball to more mistakes.

The resurgence of metroidvania games makes me happy. I loved playing Castlevania: SotN and would spend hours looking for unexplored area of the map. I am looking forward to the new titles on this genre.

Achievements add replay-ability to a game. It is nice to have them but I do not really mind if there isn't one in a game. I love achievements as I take it as a challenge and at the same time an extra objective for a mission. I used to play WoW and would go out of my way to get some achievements...

I bought Borderlands 2 GOTY edition and Transistor since its really cheap. Currently playing and enjoying borderlands with friends. I haven't tried the DLC maps yet though but I am looking forward to them since I felt that the main story is too short.

I don't really mind lending physical copies of games to friends and family but only to those I really trust. On the issue of steam account, I do not lend it to anyone as there is a lot of stuff that might happen when I lend it to someone else.

That's true, I can always read maps of buildings better than most of my family members. Video games can improve problem solving skills. Also, I have read that FPS games can improve hand-eye coordination.

Diablo 3 requires you to be connected to the net even on single player mode. I didn't like the fact that I have to be constantly connected for the game to work since I am only playing it on my own anyway. You could buy it on Blizzards website where I believe its cheaper or your local gaming store.
