    Favourite Game Genre

Lately, i really like POV shooter games and vast RPG games. I used to be really into puzzle-heavy and strategy games, but my job is so cerebral that sometimes I just want to get lost in a shooter game and go a bit bezerk a while to blow off some steam.

    Your Top 5 Games

This is a tough question, but in forums, the tougher questions are usually the best because they really define our gaming culture, I think. So, I will do my best here based upon my thoughts right now: 1. Skyrim: Elder scrolls 2. Destiny 3. God of War Games 4. Final Fantasy games 5. Halo I know I...

How many hours do you play in a row?

When I play, on average, it depends on the game and my mood, but I would say I play around two hours. Right about the two hour mark, I tend to start giving into my short attention span, and my guilt that I should be doing something more productive, and then I step away from the console.

Why do you actually enjoy gaming?

I feel the same way--gaming is a great way to escape your problems for a bit and to give your brain a rest from the stress of the every day. I think that is why I get so into RPGs because hey provide such an expansive world for us to get lost in.

How much trouble have you been through with gaming?

I've definitely received similar lectures about how gaming was a waste of time, and my mom would ban me from the games if I didn't keep my grades up and the chores done. In some ways, the threat of the games being taken away most likely contributed to me making good grades and helping around the...

How desperate are you for gaming?

I think that, when I was younger, there was a moment that I could have become quite addicted to my gaming. School was always my priority, and then, I discovered girls, then work, and next thing I knew I was pulling a full load in college and working towards a career, so all of my addictions, in...

    What game made you laugh?

All of the Grand Theft Autos made me laugh, but looking back at that, I realize I was laughing at all of the wrong things. My friends and I would go on violent rampages in that game, straight psycho sandbox style, and I would laugh at really inappropriate things, I must confess.

    First game you bought?

The very first game I ever bought with my own money was Mrs. Pac Man for the Atari home system. I am pretty sure that every time I leave a post I tell my ancient age, but I actually did extra chores around the house and saved up for this game because, at the time, the only other place I could...

    Best moments in gaming

I have had two "best moments" in gaming, if you want to call them just moments. Gaming helped distract me from heartbreak after a terrible breakup once, and gaming also helped me not to drink through a terrible tragedy in my life. I has provided a harmless distraction for me when I could have...

    Indie games

What great indie games can you recommend? I'd really be interested in experimenting with some of these. I love RPG's, so could you suggest some games along those lines?

Experienced Gamers: Which is your favorite game developer company?

Spellbound, i think this is a great question, and I am ready to read and learn from the responses. I've always heard really good things about Bethesda.

How much trouble have you been through with gaming?

I have never lost a friend or girlfriend to gaming--I tend to pay attention and try to stay attentive to cues other people are giving me, and not just because of gaming, but when it comes to anything I am doing and my relationships. If anything you are doing is making someone else feel...

    Arcade games

Oh, and I forgot--I could play Galaga for hours on end, if I had the endless quarters or tokens, back in the day...

    How to overcome gaming addiction?

A person can get addicted to probably anything, really, so I do not think it is the thing we are addicted to as much as it is us all being self-aware and healthy about our decisions. Having real goals and people in your life to spend time with will keep you off the console and PC. I use gaming...

How many games have you actually played and/or enjoyed?

I have been gaming, in some way or another, and at different intervals, for over thirty years, on different systems, with different habits, different formats, etc.--so, this question is pretty impossible for me to answer; although, I think it is a great question. I could probably remember some...

Why is there no Dungeons and Dragons love?

I still have tons of love for Dungeons and Dragons--in truth, it was my first RPG--I started playing this game when I was around ten, and I still play it now with a group of friends periodically. I would get really attached to a character, and often he would be killed during a campaign, and I...

    Movies into Games

I think that the Chronicles of Riddick was pretty good, and a few years ago, I played a Boba Fett game, on a Gamecube, I must admit, and I really enjoyed that, but I can't remember the name of it offhand. I think that Star Wars story lines and side story lines make for great games. Other than...

    Best obscure games you loved?

I am not sure if this counts as "obscure", but for me, I would say Shadow of the Colossus...it's definitely not your typical game, and it most definitely pulled me into its strange world of lost ruins and civilizations, ghosts, and monsters as big as mountains. I always hoped there would be a...

Do you have to complete a game 100%?

For me, I think this depends on the game--some games I am satisfied with playing for just a certain amount of times or levels, and then I use them as open worlds to go back to. Other games, like Gods of War, or the like, have a big payoff if you beat them, so I like to get to that point to see...

    Time of day?

Like most of us here, I generally prefer to play late at night after I have taken care of all of my responsibilities. However, every now and then, especially when I have a day off and a new game, I will spend several hours playing during the day, even when it is good weather outside.
