    Adventure Games

Does anyone still play adventure games? Some of them were good. I'm thinking of Myst and, my favorite, The Longest Journey. I'm not really sure why they're not popular anymore. The best ones had great animation and actors doing the voices of the characters. Riven had wonderful puzzles to solve.

Is there a genre that you miss

Ten years ago, on my computer, I used to play a lot of Adventure games and flight simulators. There's not many of them left and those that remain aren't as good. I'd play Myst or Riven for hours, trying to solve the puzzles. Do you miss a genre?

    Will PC Gaming Overtake Consoles

I think consoles will always lead pc gaming. Console games are easier to play. They tend to be more fun and you don't have to have an extreme rig with a $1000 budget, in order to get the best games at a good frame-rate. The only edge computers have, is that they are continually improving. New...

    Favorite Game?

If you'd said pc game, I'd of answered Command and Conquer. I love those. But, since we're talking console games, I'm going to say, God of War. It's no contest for me. I love the action and moves available. It has great story-telling, with Greek mythology and Greek stories are my favorite, right...

How many consoles do you own?

That's a lot of consoles that people have. I don't have time for a lot of gaming BUT I do have 1-XBox 360 1-Playstation 3 1-Playstation 2 (modded) I actually still use the ps2 from time to time because of the sheer amount of games I have on it. The ps3 has become more of a media center and I'm...

What football team do you support?

Glasgow Celtic. My dad was from Glasgow and our hated enemy (just kidding) is Glasgow Rangers.

    Worst console you have owned

The Gamecube. It's the only console I didn't like. I've owned a lot of them, all the way back to the Atari 2600 and the Commodore 64 and I'd put the N64 in second place, behind the Gamecube since it never really took off and didn't have a lot of games available.

    Difficulty or Fun?

I play for fun and to get a sense of victory when I finish a level. I'm probably guilty of turning down the difficulty level if I get really stuck. I can't help it, I'm easily frustrated and it's safer to turn the difficulty down to Medium and finish the level rather than throw the controller at...

    What's your favorite Sport teams?

Being Scottish, I have to say Glasgow Celtic Football team (soccer). And I'll always support the national Scottish football (soccer) team even though they're awful. I can't even remember the last time we made it into the final rounds of the World Cup.

    What was your first console

Mine was the old Atari 2600. It took cartridges and once I saw those very first, blocky games, I was hooked. My next was a Commodore 64, great games on regular cassettes. They took ages to load.

How do you buy your games?

I used to buy from Gamespot or maybe find a cheap copy on Amazon/Ebay. The last few games I've played I've rented from Gamefly. I got fed up of buying new games for $39 and finding out they had real short gameplay. Seemed like a waste of money. So Gamefly was perfect for me.

How quickly do you go through headsets?

I went through headsets pretty fast (One of my friends was drunk and sat on them. I wasn't happy) But now I bought this expensive set from Audio Technica and I really look after them.

    Speakers

I used to have this really cool set of Klipsch speakers that had a sub-woofer that was the bomb. I live in a new place now and I think the neighbors would kill me if I used them. I still have them but I mostly use my headset now.

How do you capture screenshots of your gaming?

If I need a capture of a screenshot of something cool in my game, I hit "Prt Sc" on the keyboard and then I'll "Paste" it into a new composition in Photoshop and crop/resize it. Then I save it as a jpeg to upload.

    Recommended Graphic Programs

If you're looking for something that can do everything, then it has to be Adobe's Photoshop. I have Photoshop CS6 and love it. You need some kind of training to get the best out of it but you can find a lot of that on tutorial websites like psd.tutsplus.com and so many others. And checkout...
