Face it, the TS is dead. God forbid anyone joins the TS, they frequently can't move channels because they need the GameRebel Tag. There's no real need for it because of the communities small size.

I'm against this. The teamspeak is still used. People use the term dead way too much. Sure the teamspeak isn't buzzing with 50+ people, but during the weekends I've seen 20-25 people on. This is definitely not classified as a dead teamspeak.

The tags are there as well to keep random people from just joining and moving to channels. Almost every teamspeak if private has those for this exact reason.

Edit:

The tag is symbolic of the first "rank" in the player/staff hierarchy

Also it gives teamspeak staff an occasional job to do.

In the past 3+ months, I've seen only 2 new people join the TS (One was a previous member but had to reinstall ts) There's no need for a hierarchy when this is a community of "friends" now. And there is no with no actual reason to pursue a higher rank. It doesn't really serve a purpose in the communities state when (so far) it causes more issues than actually prevents issues

Remove the damn requirements, it's so annoying getting people on the TS when there's no able staff online to give them perms. If any of my friends go on the TS with no staff on, we leave and go on another one. Most channels are private anyway, I don't see the big deal other than people just wanting to unnecessarily control things.

I completely agree with this. I mainly don't use the TS anymore because when me and other people join, I have tags and they don't so I just don't bother.

You say you never see new people join. Then why remove the tags then? But wait if your "friends" are joining, and ill use the example of me having to give out 5 tags in past 2 weeks just to Prophets friends (prophet now banned from ts3), then why make statements like this you are completely contradicting yourself.

It literally isn't a big deal to have ONE tag. Jordan was even the one who put it there in the first place for the exact same reasons I've been mentioning over and over.

This is being taken into consideration, along with all the points people have made. This will be locked until a final decision is made.

EDIT****

Guests are now able to move freely around the teamspeak as a normal user would however they have limitations to what they can do without the regular "GameRebel" tag. Some of these things are as follows: Have a TS avatar, send channel messages along with some other minor permissions.

This is to ensure that if any randoms choose to join they won't be causing uneeded trouble around the teamspeak.
