Hello people, I don't know if I'm too newbie to this kind of games. I thought that I was going to beat it down but now I'm stressed out, I can't pass the 1024 tile. Someone has a wonderful trick to share? I'm taking a breath to start again in few hours...

I felt so embarrassed to share it with you (I know that in this forum there are a lot of Freak Gamers), but I'm too obsessed that I want some help from anyone!

I won't sleep tonight if I can not see the 2048 tile by myself.

I would highly suggest you play in the upper left/right corners. Try not to keep your blocks so scattered about, and don't always take the most obvious route to building up bigger numbers and reducing spaces. The game is intended to trick players like that who can't think outside the box and use the RNG (Random Number Generator) to their advantage.

Just stay consistent with how you build up, and try and keep your higher numbers in those corners.

GL man, haven't played this game for a while but I did manage to score 2048 a couple times when I did.

Exactly this. It doesn't necessarily have to be one of the upper ones, it just has to be a corner. To keep all your blocks there, you'll have to cut out one direction (in the upper corner case, downward) and never swipe that way. Don't rush to get to higher numbers, because otherwise blocks will start to clog up quickly.
RNG can still mess over your game, mind you, but you'll complete the game at least once eventually by keeping this in mind.

Basically it's one of those games where you just have the one "really good" round in which you seem to be getting the right numbers in right places allowing you to build up without cluster-f'ing your space.

Yeah, that game is a quarter skill and three quarters luck. That's probably what makes (made?) it so addictive in the beginning, but makes you steer away from it later. It feels like the game is punishing you with no reason, and that frustration makes you forget the luck you previously had pretty quickly.

Thank you! I managed to score 2048 with the tips. Now I see it very easy and is getting less addictive (Good or bad news?) Now I'm trying to reach the 4096 tile. I don't feel the same anxiety.
Thanks again guys.

Another similar game you recommend to me?
I'm searching for some RNG games but no luck. I found Flappy Bird and Piano tiles as Random generators but they haven't numbers... :/

Piano Tiles is a weird combination of the game trying to trick you with random tile placements, but has a MAJOR skill element. Flappy Bird honestly shouldn't be revived after its craze (literally drove everyone to insanity when it came out lol).

My recommendation is to just try random games and find what works for you.

So glad to hear that! Once I got past the 2048 tile I lost interest as well, I only played it casually (it actually became a stress reliever after that, haha).
Piano Tiles is nice, although much more reaction time based. Threes is very similar to 2048, but it's basically its clone.
If you don't mind the lack of numbers, please try out Atomas. It's amazingly addictive and conceptually similar to 2048 (you slide atoms one against the other to make them combine, so instead of numbers you get elements), but I found it to be more entertaining theme-wise.

I'm so over this game. :D

I played it constantly before. It was a great puzzle game. But then it got boring when I was able to get multiple 2048 tiles in a single game. At first, all you have to do is to swipe down and right, down and right. The idea is to keep all the tiles in an orderly manner with the tiles with the higher amount kept as the inner tiles and those with low amounts kept as outer tiles.

Well, it was fun while it lasted.

OH MAN, Atomas is way better than this game. 2048 is a game I play in the mid of work time, pretty good but I feel tired in a while. I want something fun, not hard, with no much brain needs (I work with my ears and don't want to be too much distracted, just to avoid procrastination). I should start a new thread, shouldn't I? Thanks a lot wise man.

I think Atomas fills the requirements.

I remember the game! Everyone has played it at some point. The whole trick was to keep the blocks in one corner and hope for the best because sometimes even with the right moves you might have to do something that would ruin the setup. When people finally got a higher score they usually stopped playing because what's the point if you know you can achieve the goal.

You're very welcome! Atomas is one of my favourite mobile games, give it a shot ;)
And yeah, maybe in a new thread you'd get even more suggestions. I'd be interested in that too, haha.
