Hello! Are you new to Minecraft and need a headstart or just completely new to the game? Well, this guide will certainly help you with the game. As a Minecraft player who has years of experience is writing this guide.

Minecraft is a sandbox game, there is no proper way on how to play this game. However, you have to manage to survive during the night.

You will need to collect wood once you start your world/server. You will need a crafting table (which is made from wood) and you should make a axe which makes woodchopping much much easier than it needs to be. You should live underground for now and make stone tools from cobblestone (which is found underground) so they do not break easily. Make shelter from wood or find a village. Make a pickaxe and make or find some torches when you go mining. You will need them.

During the night time, you want to stay inside and that is when monsters will spawn. You want to make a sword and have some armor so you don't die as easily.

When you die, it should have a death screen and your items are normally scattered. Be sure to get to the death location or it will despawn!

You are going to need food because you have a hunger bar. If you don't then you will lose hearts which pending on the difficulty will kill you.

I think the best advice on getting the most out of Minecraft is that let players the survival mode despite them not having any knowledge on what to do and where to go. It was like that in my first time playing and it was very memorable. It was intense to be chased by monsters and having no idea what to do. Let the players learn by themselves for the first time. The second time though they can look up guides or recipes on making tools and stuff. It is just fun to discover things for yourself.

Oh hello there! Thank you so much for the sharing. I just started playing Minecraft a few months ago and I am loving it. Still, I feel sorry I do not have as much time as I would like to dedicate to the game to master it. I will not give up until I get there and the information people share here is really helpful.

One of the best tips I can give is to get your wheat garden started asap. Life becomes so much easier when you have enough food to sustain you and grow a population of animals to feed off of. It sounds really basic but I see people dying on my server all the time when they're new because they're too worried about finding diamonds or goofing off in the nether. Diamonds are great and pot-shotting pigmen is too, but you have to eat to live.

Thats a great tip, another useful tip is to make a compass asap. (after the garden of course) I can not count how many people wander for supplies and get lost. And some of them even get lost with a map because they don't know how to read the map. The compass will always point north (your spawn point on the map) and all you have to do is use the compass to find your way home.

Another good tip for beginners is to make sure you are using your time in the mines effectively. I know a lot of players who continue to use stone tools even when they have a base set up and well stocked! Switching to iron tools dramatically increases your take-home load while decreasing the time you need to spend underground. You will typically more than recoup the raw materials you will spend on the tools so don't be afraid to upgrade!

I'm not a new member in Minecraft, I am an old member and even if I would need any help I guess I would ask my son, he is one of the best playing Minecraft. He taught me how to find and use recipes for Minecraft and create things much easier and faster without any help from the outside.
Your post is very informative for the Minecraft beginners, and a big help. Thanks for share!

I am new in Minecraft and this guide has been so helpful! I was kind of wasting all of my time only at the mines and forgetting about the whole rest. I am currently trying to use some stone tools too!
