Been using windows 7 since the day that it got released and I had my HP laptop. When 10 came out I upgraded my gaming laptop right away that had windows 8 and a year later my desktop had an clean windows 10 pro installed. My desktop had windows 7 ultimate beforehand.

Both are good, yet 7 is better since there are allot of games like GTA4 that isn't easy to run on 10, there are some software that 7 had that is no longer supported for 10 and that the back drop if you want to run older games, unless you can get it going on steam. Yet 10 is more better for gaming as it doesn't eat up more of the hardware allot more new supported drivers and faster times.

And Of the day I'm fully running windows 10, Windows 7 is the passed

I also used the Windows 7 for as long as possible... but if you look at some of the really newer games they all recommend Windows 10 or at least 8. I don't know why since I am not an expert on OS but I decided to upgrade to the Windows 10 when they were still offering it for free. I waited so long to make sure that they would eliminate as many bugs and glitches as possible. When I switched over, I expected the worst but was very pleasantly surprised. Upgrading was really easy. Nothing got deleted, all remained as it was.

You will, of course, notice the new interface design and small extra features. They seem to be putting more and more emphasis on the connectivity with social media platforms. Overall, I don't regret to upgrading to the Windows 10. My computer runs great, it feels way faster than on the 7 and I really love everything they've added.

I like this point and it is why I will keep on using win 7.
Honestly I thought Windows 10 is newer version then it will be better older version 7 but maybe I was wrong. :)

I've had Windows 7 on my desktop ever since I got in back in 2011, and it's the operating system I've come to know the best. I'm building a new PC currently, and I'm probably going just upgrade to Windows 10 on it, but it hurts me to move away from the OS that I've come to know and love over the years.

In contrast to a lot of people who hated it before, Windows 10 is actually pretty good now, especially after the Creator's Edition update. Windows 7 is amazing, but if you're looking to play the latest games, then I suggest you move on to Windows 10 and benefit from its direct x 12. When I moved from 8.1 to 10 the first time, it was definitely very buggy as it's been only out for a month. As time went on, it had a lot of updates and I think it's doing really well now and is comparable to 7 if not better.

Windows 10 all the way, a lot more new handy features as well as a very smooth interface that you could easily maneuver through and multitask with.

I am getting confused with your reply because as the reply above ( from Empire ) said then Windows 10 is not easy to run any games. :)

Windows 7 is what I use, I don't want to upgrade it to windows because it seems hard to use. I've heard too that it uses a big capacity of RAM. So I try to excute the updates to protect my laptop and that's all !

I use Windows 10 because Windows 7 is in EOL (end of life) and it only receives security upgrades. I know a lot of people we afraid to switch to Windows 10 when it was released. But its a petty proven OS and I would upgrade if you have the funds. Because your computer will run a lot better. And you will be more secure if you upgrade.

I agree with you.
Just want to hear your experience if you used both window versions.
Which is lighter and consuming less resource of system? Windows 7 or 10?

I use and prefer Windows 10, I've been using it since its release and has been receiving great security updates since. We all know Windows 10 was a nightmare to begin with when playing games, due to compatibility issues mostly, but I haven't had a single problem since. Windows 10 is the sleek OS we've been waiting for. Only issue I dislike with Windows 10 is that it's bloated with a ton of crap that' I've spent countless hours removing from the OS.
