Which one you feel more comfortable to play games, Desktop or Laptop?
For me, I always play games on my desktop with a big monitor and I see this is an advantage that laptop could not have as a desktop did.

Any comments?

Desktop experience is still the best for me, but as of now I only own a laptop. I like desktop gaming better because the parts are cheap if you want to upgrade them, and the device is always running on full power unlike when a laptop is unplugged of its charger, it starts to degrade your fps a little bit even on high-performance mode. Most laptops these days have a built-in battery too so the option to take out the battery and game using the device and a charger isn't going to work unlike back in the days.

I would prefer a desktop for gaming. I have always been playing games on my desktop as I have been having issues when it comes to my laptop. Firstly I have been having the problem of overheating when it comes to my laptop and secondly the battery gets used up quickly.

Before i prefer desktop because its highly customisable. You can really achieve the best gaming pleasure if you build your own hardware. Now, i am using laptop because i dont have the time and luxury to hunt down parts and assemble them. Laptop is already complete.

I've never owned a gaming laptop nor would I ever want to own one. They aren't bad, but I can't justify spending more than what I'd spend on a desktop to play a game on a tiny screen, on my lap, and not at a desk. Some gaming laptops have GTX 1070 and even 1080 GPUs and sometimes run on a 1080p screen.. what's the point in wasting all of that power for a 1080p screen?

I just prefer to chill in my chair at my desk and to build my own machine to play games on.

I've never played games on my laptop (well not proper games like PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds but more things like 8 Ball Pool :D). I've never really bothered looking for a computer that has specs that would be good to play games like FIFA, Battlefield or GTA. The fact that it is quite expensive as well to buy a top end gaming PC puts me off purchasing me but I will eventually buy a gaming PC one day. And when I do I will make sure to go for a Desktop. I feel like gaming on a laptop would just be too weird especially considering how small the screen is. With a desktop, you can get a massive monitor.

I think it really depends. If you have a good laptop and bad desktop then obviously the laptop and vice versa, but if we're talking about just in general then desktops are by far better because you are able to really make a desktop super powerful and laptops can get upgrades but not like desktops.

The change from a 15 inch laptop screen to 22 monitor was astounding. I had more options in resolution, and so far haven't had to rely on the Borderless Gaming program to resize games in hope of an FPS boost. I don't have to worry about the heat the laptop, which after 3 years requires a cooling pad for even office tasks.
Old faithful can't beat desktops besides portability.

While I would advise anyone interested in gaming to buy a desktop I currently play games on my laptop due to life circumstances (University, always traveling and such) Still I have to say that for a laptop my PC runs games very well. It is an ASUS i3. Now it has been outdated for a while but until a couple years ago it could run most games without a problem.

I find a desktop much more suitable for gaming than a laptop is simply by sheer power and price. I don't mind screen size, but I do care quite a bit about performance and you pay much higher prices for performance when it comes to a laptop - not that I don't see laptops as having merit, but I feel that unless you're constantly on the move (someone who lives in dorms or constantly going to LAN parties), a desktop is better for performance.

I think it's easier to set up a good desktop setup, especially for the variety of video cards, memories and other desktop accessories. Today there are already experienced companies that build laptops for games, but I still prefer to play on desktops, even loving the laptops.

It's always gonna be the PC for gaming. Laptop is for mobility, not quality and performance I'm afraid. PC has more power, more cooling, and you can have better hardware on it for a cheaper price than for a laptop. The chances of it being broken is also minimal because you never move it, compared to the laptop which you can bang against items while you are walking, as well as drop it while you are using it. It's a lot more cost-effective to get a PC than a laptop since the repairs will also be less frequent and less pricey.

It's obvious that desktop is better, but I still stick to my laptop because of it flexibility which makes it easy for me to turn or move around wherever I want it.

Yes, I do agree with you that laptop is more comfy and faster than laptop. At least, I don't experience hang system when I play games online on desktop but on laptop, there are more heating problems and blur screen after using a few years. A wide LED monitor with good gaming sub woofers, a wired mouse ( don't use wireless !) and gaming keyboard fit perfectly! Buy Logitech brand, a bit pricey but worth it!

I believe no one can describe the greatest feeling playing in desktop. Aside from being user-friendly it allows you to upgrade your personal desktop into higher specification which makes your gaming faster and reliable. Laptops i believe just made for basic functions such as surfing, reports, and other minimal actions. It can't replace the feelings and attachment of a player playing in desktop rather than laptop. In overall, for me desktop is better rather than laptop.

There's never a competition here. Desktops are cheaper, dissipate heat better, have a much larger after market of parts, and are far easier to service yourself than any laptop will ever hope to be. So long as your needs don't include mobility then the desktop is the right way to go. If you are willing to spend a little extra coin you can put together a half way serviceable minitower desktop which can be surprisingly portable, as well as usually besting even good gaming laptops by a little bit. But generally speaking, who doesn't want to game in front of their 1080p tv at this point?

Always go for desktop gaming if you can stay home for months. Desktop parts are really cheap compared to laptop. Plus not all parts of laptop can be change without complications or errors. I think desktop outperforms laptop in about 15-30% when it comes to latest specs. I am personally a laptop user with a desktop but I don't use my desktop anymore. My laptop is already good for gaming and I think that desktop consumes more energy because it has more individual parts than a laptop.

I always use my desktop computer to play games since it’s much better compared to a laptop. However, the latter has a benefit of its own since it can be carried anywhere unlike my PC. For great game performance, though, the desktop always wins!

On a performance level, desktop all the way. There might be good gaming laptop, but they will never, NEVER, be good as a desktop PC.
But laptop can be useful if we can't have a desktop for any reason. For example if we are currently far from home... It's my case, for example. I'm currently using a laptop - a Lenovo Y50 - which is pretty decent, I admit it, but I miss my home machine.

Yes, same here. When I moved to my university town I had to buy one because I had to travel every weekend. My laptop is an ASUS and I cannot really complain about it gets the job done. But yeah a desktop would be better for performance purposes, even though there are some pretty good laptops around too.
