You just have to know what you want.

But you also have to think broadly about what you can post.

So if you are into Star Wars lets say.

Find areas that may associate with Star Wars (eg Lore, Games, Movies, Books) ton of broad topics but within a more specific topic.

At first, it seems confusing to everyone, but you can find separate discussion under a different variety of topics. Just choose the one which suits your style and knowledge. You should walk through and check all other discussions and topics. Then you can decide where you want to post your discussions. Don't worry you will get help from forum community members.

Maybe I used blog layouts more thus on homepage that having too much text can make me difficult in finding where to click and start going to where I wanted, but it is not a problem, I will try to get acquainted with the forum layout.

Yes it seems just a feeling when I am new on this forum, I will try to check out all the forums and to know more about how it is organized, from there I will easily find sections to post in next times.

Thanks

Now you will be going to feel more comfortable after checking out all other discussions and topics over here. It's very user-friendly interface, and you are going to know a lot of good and knowledgeable stuff here. Just be free to ask about anything you love about gaming. You will get all the help from forum members for sure.

I'm sorry for your confusion!

Like yourself, I also found it rather difficult to post in the right forums. Which is also why I stick to commenting and elaborating on ready-made topics, rather than creating my own. However, like any forum you spend time on, you'll learn the flow of where you need to be depending on what you're into and looking for.

Begin by asking yourself some primary questions:
  • Am I a PC or Console Gamer?
  • Do I prefer single or multiplayer?
  • Favorite gaming titles?
  • Do I want to post a question or tip?
Answering those should help you navigate your way around the Game Rebels community easier. It's also sometimes best to click through all the GR sections of topics, instead of searching. But this isn't a harsh community; we'll happily point you in the right direction either way!

If you have any gaming knowledge at all, this forum should be relatively easy to post on. It just depends on what type of game or console you want to talk about. I'd take a look over the forums thoroughly. Perhaps write a few notes of possible thread ideas you'd like to start or the types of threads you'd like to reply to, do a search to see if they exist yet, if not, go to the appropriate forum and create them. :)

I am a PC gamer.

Played multi players but I prefer single player games.

What does it mean for "titles"?

I want to post more questions on this forum because I need tips to play games on my current PC.

First, I'm a PC Gamer, like yourself! I suggest you thoroughly scroll here for tips and reviews on generally all PC games. As well as here for your hardware and software needs. Also, check out the list of Platform Games. You may find one or two you're familiar with. If not, you should look into buying!

Regarding "titles", I was simply asking your favorite games?

Thanks I will check sections as you suggested.

For me, I don't have any favorite games, I played more games which fits my hobby...for examples, Battle field 4, Diablo 3, PlantsVsZombies, Need for Speed™ are types of games that I like playing.

And what kind of things do you search? For me it's not that hard, I search for any video game that I know and start writing, I love to interact with people, it's something that I really enjoy to do, if I feel comfortable everything it's more easier. Just focus on the things you like, that's it :) I hope you won't have to deal with this problem very often in the future.

I think that the sub-forums on here are actually really nicely organized. I easily find the threads I'm interested in - though honestly, I just look through a few sub-forums I'm interested in and then reply to threads to which I have something to add. If you're looking for a specific one, you can use search and then when you find the one you're looking for just stay active in it. If you can't find something you're looking for, you can just start a new thread with what you want to talk about or the questions you have to ask.

I agree with this but seem Gamerebels is giving all forums into a gaming section, I thought that should be sorted by type of games then it will be easier to find? Maybe there is a bit difficult for me to find fast info/forums if wanted :)

The Gaming Section is not badly organized, but if that doesn't help, you'll probably have to keep using the search. You'll probably figure out where you can find what you're interested in after a few those searches, so that shouldn't be a problem. Good luck though:tearsofjoy:

Popular games have their own sections within the forum due to the amount of members that play them and the attention they get in the forums. We don't have sections for other games because there wouldn't be many posts if only a few members are interested in that particular game.

I got it!
I agree with you, and depending on how the forum is growing and number of members are interested in games then should open new forums.

That is something we are always looking to do! If we get enough interest in a particular game from members, and it is suggested in the suggestions and feedback forum, then we highly consider adding it to the forums. It's just that there wouldn't be any point in creating one if it wouldn't get much attention.
