What is your favourite Android game of all time? If possible, try to pick something recent, as I have played all the older well known classics available from Google Play. I'm looking for something recent, fun and addictive and the sort of game that you cannot help keep installed on your device because it's just so good. Anyone?

Shadow Era for me, it's a great mobile TCG that's not pay-to-win. Until Hearthstone gets ported to Android I'll be sticking with this gem.

Right now it's Into the Dead. It's a really fresh take on both the runner and the zombie genre, mashing them up. You have to run as much as possible while avoiding zombies or trees or poles or other stuff. You get guns which you can kill the zombies with, and also dogs which automatically jump at a zombie's neck and kills it.

The game has a lot of replay-ability, and you don't really feel the need to use In-App Purchases, as they aren't getting shoved down your throat.

Yeah, I've played Into The Dead. That's been out for quite a while now. It was okay but I didnt think it was anything too special to be honest. I thought Dead Trigger was a lot better.

Thanks for that, I hadn't heard of it before.

Doomdark's Revenge. Or well, Lords of Midnight, the other one which are part of the game series too.
They're remakes of very old adventure/rpg/strategy games. I used to spend a ton of time on them, back in the day. It's sooooo amazing to play them on the phone nowadays. Such a great nostagic feel.

Okay, I've just Googled "Doomdark's Revenge" and it certainly looks interesting. I see that it was originally available for ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64 and Amstrad CPC - I have actually had every single one of those computers at some point, which would have been not long after this game came out. The front cover actually looks a bit familiar though. It's possible I've seen the cover before but have never played the game. I see it also has a 5/5 rating on Google Play, so it certainly looks like it's worth checking out. The name of the developer, Mike Singleton, is also incredibly familiar for some reason.

I really love geometry dash (the full version)
As they say in their description, its a rhythm - based action platformer.
This games has great music and it's levels are real fun, and the best thing : you can design your own levels, and they may be included in the next version of the game! Though I mainly got into it because of the great music.

One of my favorite Android games is Plague Inc. The large amount of strategy needed to play this game is very fun as it keeps my mind thinking in things other than stress. I also like how it is very similar to PC strategy games (where you build your army and keep improving it and dominate); in this game you start with that one very small and simple microbe and by time you keep improving it and making it stronger and stronger. I have even purchased extra features and paid money to unlock certain plagues, and that proves how much this game is addicting! as I have never purchased any in-app features for Android before!

Also, I really like how on the very top of the screen you get to see a news log which shows you how real-life news would be if the plague, you are playing with, was a real-life plague and it compares your fictional plague with real-life epidemic diseases that took place in the past (like the black death). This is VERY COOL!

I don't really have any game that is my truly favourite, because my favourite game changes all the time.
However, there is a stupid game that I am playing every day. It is called "Fun Run".
Have you guys heard about it? It is a really stupid game, but I just love it.HAHAHA;);)

A lot of great games listed here. Can't wait to try them out :D
I am waiting for hearthstone too.
I have also heard about plague inc, would certainly love to try it out.
I personally love arcade games like gyro, or one more line.

I think for me it has to be the puzzle games. Say like Angry birds, worms, and few others. I have found that some of the games like Nun run and gun is also good enough game for me. You can see that some android games are good for the time pass. And some can be played at any time when you are bored as well.

I still like Angry Birds and Candy Crush, I really don't know why because these games aren't that great but I still enjoy playing them from time to time.

If we're talking about mainly a mobile game and not a game that was from a console/PC ported into mobile, then I'd say I loved Modern Combat 4. It's pretty much just a Call of Duty clone but for me, it did a really great job with it. The graphics and story is amazing, and what really got me is how easy the gameplay feels despite being on a touchscreen device. The story is quite short though, however I do recommend you try it, it's amazing.

I really like Criminal Case. This is a hidden object game. You have to find clues and send them to the laboratory to analyse them. You will find the clues on the different murder scenes. You will also have to interrogate the suspects. There is also a time limit given and you must find all the hidden objects before your time gets over. I also like the soundtrack in the game.

Just like Pixie06 I like Criminal Case. You said all it could be said about this game Pixie, except that you can't play it long because your energy ends and you must wait to refill it. That is what I hate about this game because I would like to play it longer and I can't!

Currently I'm really enjoying Kingdom Rush Frontiers. I know Kindom Rush isn't really the most unkown game, but i like its predecessor it is a ton of fun and a solid tower defense game.
Also still getting a lot of fun out of Super Hexagon and Triple Town. Both are easy to pick-up, but really hard to put down.

I remember being addicted to The Respawnables some time ago (a sort of Team Fortress clone, but still very fun). Hungry Shark Evolution is fun to play on the go and getting all upgrades takes time, but it really pays off. I don't know how good the Android client is, but if you like card games Heartstone is the only true answer.
Tricky answer of the day: Adventure Capitalist. It's...weirdly addictive. If I explained to you what it's about, you'd probably shrug and move on, but just give it a chance and you'll find yourself sucked in. It will leave you wondering how the hell you're still playing it.

I've been World Of Tanks Blitz for around 3 years now on my android tablet. It's really been a blast from day 1 and I haven't been able to put it down since. Check it out, you might like it!
