In case you were wondering, Halo: The Master Chief Collection is still not working entirely as intended. 343 Industries says the next repair to one of Microsoft’s biggest releases of the year is due this week.
“The team continues development and testing of upcoming content updates, the next of which will specifically make improvements to the matchmaking system and flow,” the developer writes. “This particular update is on track for delivery this week. We will provide more details on the exact ETA, included fixes, and additional upcoming content updates in the near future.”
Microsoft is just one publisher that has been facing such significant problems that an apology to the community was warranted. Sony has been working since the October 7 release of Driveclub to repair that game’s broken functions. Ubisoft last week issued a statement on Assassin’s Creed Unity accompanied by promises of free DLC and a free game for season pass holders.
