Any Linux users in here?

I use Linux, mainly because I gave up on Microsoft with Windows 8. I have that now but I'm torrenting openSUSE at the moment.

Servers? like web servers or game servers? I am on windows 8 but im saving for a new mac. How is linux? ive never used or seen anyone with it..

Linux if you're inexperienced with that OS I wouldn't recommend it to a newbie unless you run it on a virtual machine to just mess with it.

Well, I went back to Windows 8 cause of Linux failing to boot on UEFI, and disabling Secure Boot did absolutely nothing, but I didn't like how they're making it more MS-integrated. I'm a huge open source supporter.

I dont really like windows 8. but whats linux for? i know its an operating system but like for anything special?
