Yeah this guy basically won both worlds. I kinda hate him a little for it :smile: But hey, there are tons of stories about couples meeting in online games and hitting it off in real life. Odds of that drastically go down when you're playing offline games though...
It's a changing world. Lots of people meet from halfway across the planet and become friends, to the point where they even travel to each other's country if their budget allowed it. It's not uncommon anymore since we don't have to rely on snail mail that arrive 2 months after you send it. Right now I can send a message to someone on the other side of the world in one press of a button, and it's sent there instantly. Technology is pretty great!Well to tell you the truth I have always been a skeptic of meeting people online. I have always preferred the real "eye in the eye" deal over the whole dating apps thing. Still, after talking to lots of people and hearing some stories out I have to say that if I was single I'd definitely give them out a try.Wouldn't hurt anyway
I agree! technology is amazing. I call myself "Old fashioned" because I tend to do things the hard way. There is no denying that technology is great but I think that it also makes people lazy. There are no more men like before because everything is easier nowadays. The trick s to benefit from technology while remaining active and always investing in ourselves.This way we can use technology to improve ourselves also!
Gaming is my hobby and whenever I feel low I try to play a game and I usually feel better afterwards. I am happy that gaming helped you. I have learnt many things and made many new friends due to gaming.
