Oblivion?

So I don't know how many gamers on here play the Elder Scrolls series but I do and I have a question. I own Skyrim and love it, and I'm curious, should I get Oblivion too? I've heard the Oblivion was an amazing game and that some even consider it better than Skyrim still but I don't know if playing an older game after having played the improved Skyrim will ruin my experience. Thoughts?

The amount of hours i've put into that game and skyrim on both pc and xbox is unbelievable, two of the best games i've ever played.
There isn't many tie-ins between oblivion and skyrim, there the same and yet different in so many ways. Also, if your playing the game on xbox, you don't really notice the difference between the two games in terms of graphics so you don't really know its an older game if you don't think of it as an old game and just another game in the TES Series . The game has different enemies, Daedra compared to Dragons so it's a different experience in-terms of enemies and how you would combat them etc.
So yeah, i'd reccomend buying it, great game for it's time and i think the story-line is great!

It shouldnt ruin you experience although i didnt put as many hours in oblivion as i did skyrim i checked my saved profile on skyrim and have 114 hours.

Interesting, you'd think the newer game would have the better graphics, does Skyrim hold the better graphics title for PC though?

What do you mean 'Interesting, you'd think the newer game would have the better graphics'? Skyrim does have better graphics on pc and it does on xbox also although when i played, the difference isnt that big though if you where to play them both side by side you would see the difference.
That goes for basically any other game such as battlefields, cods etc

Oblivion is a really good game. I think you should totally get it.

I've played both but as another poster said above, there aren't many tie-ins in terms of the story or characters so if you decide to just devote your time to Skyrim you wouldn't be missing out on much.
