PS3 What do you think went wrong with the Socom series and do you miss it?

I use to love playing Socom and my favorite Socoms were Socom 1 & 2 and Confrontation. How ever I do believe that Socom 4 killed the series because they made it too much like Call of Duty. People loved Socom because it was different and not a generic shooter. What do you think went wrong with the Socom series and do you miss it?

P.S. I miss Socom and wish I could go back to the Days of Socom 1 & 2 on my PS2 :smiley:
