Roxio GameCap HD error "Select video device failed"

After opening my Roxio Game Capture HD Pro software i receive this error "Select video device failed" its not allowing me to record. Computer is running windows 8.1, i didn't get this error a while back. Any suggestions?

They didn't work for him, but that's all there is that can be found regarding your issue.

I tried everything on that thread apart from disabling the integrated graphics, seem i can open my BIOS because the keyboard loses power during boot up. The game capture has work in the past so im going to refresh my computer and try some more.
