***DISCALIMER***

This document will entail all rules that should be followed on the Teamspeak. Rules are subject to change at the Head Teamspeak Admin's & Community Management’s Discretion. As a community member it is YOUR job to remain informed of the rules as they’re changed. And Remember GameRebels is a privately owned teamspeak server. Therefore, your "right" to free speech is limited. We do not tolerate personal attacks or harassment. Anyone caught doing so, will be warned if not banned.

General Global Rules (GGR)

  1. If a specified server is in development/not playable or even just an idea approved, the staff rank of Staff Manager and below will not be given to any player due to the main fact of some players abusing their power to an invisible server. These potential staff also have no one to look over since their servers are not up and running so the will not be given any tags until server is OFFICIALLY ranked as open and playable.
  2. All staff with ban powers below the rank of Community Supervisor are allowed to ban for a maximum of one hour with valid reason. To have someone banned for any time over specification, the situation MUST be brought to TS Staff or a Supervisor if the situation is in need of immediate resolution.
  3. All moderation on the server should be left to Teamspeak staff. If none are present management are free to deal with it at their discretion. Supervisors may get involved if they feel the situation in need of immediate resolution.
  4. Suggestive/stupid/racist names are NOT ALLOWED on the teamspeak under any circumstances.
  5. Sexual / Pornographic related Content is not allowed on the teamspeak under any circumstances.
  6. The highest and second highest rank in each server for their specified channel are the only ones allowed to have Channel Admin (Owner).
  7. Inappropriate Teamspeak Avatars of all categories are not allowed.
  8. Naming yourself the exact same or similar name to a Staff Member on purpose is considered impersonation of staff and will be kicked and even banned.
  9. Channels should be created/deleted by authorized staff of the Teamspeak: Head Teamspeak Admin, Community Supervisor and up.
  10. If one cannot be an adult about conflict absorbent topics such as Religion, Political Views, etc. If asked to stop talking about such topics in public chats by ANY staff of ANY server, one is to stop such conversations.
  11. Disrespecting/Flaming/Backtalk about any staff or players on the teamspeak is not tolerated and if reported with evidence of any sort will bring about trouble. Doing such actions on any other social media device or chatting software except the official forums & discord cannot be used against you for it is entirely your opinion.
  12. A player is allowed to have only ONE teamspeak account on at the same time from the same device. Example: One on your computer and one on your phone is allowed. Two on your computer is not allowed. (Exceptions can be made, contact Head TS Admin)
  13. RANK JUMPING IS NOT ALLOWED. If there is a problem one must go up the staff chain from moderator to admin, etc. Do not rank jump unless the problem cannot be handled by the staff member in question. Community Founders are busy and not to be bothered with petty problems, report to the correct ranks. Anything Teamspeak wise should be reported to the Head Help Desk Staffs and/or Help Desk Staffs.
  14. Threats that are directed toward players are a punishable offence. Threats towards the servers/community are a bannable offence.
  15. Having your name set as tags is not allowed unless your approved my Head TS Admin and or founder.
  16. Channel join spamming is not allowed due to the fact that you are not only annoying the users in the channels but you are also spamming the global chat.
  17. A maximum of 8 Teamspeak Staff members will be allowed and no more. Hiring of any Teamspeak Staff will also be done ONLY through an interview through both or one of the Head TS Admins.
  18. A Head Teamspeak Admin monitors/controls the teamspeak completely and only teamspeak issues. Teamspeak Dev’s deal with the permissions which one can complain to the TS Dev’s or the Teamspeak Staff for any problems with tag permissions.
  19. A Head Teamspeak Admin is allowed to kick/ban where he/she see fit within reason and is allowed in ALL CHANNELS to deal with any problems.
  20. Any TS Staff member is allowed in any channel to deal with an active situation.
  21. NO ONE is allowed to touch the teamspeak permissions without authorized permission. This also goes for editing channels that can be a potential threat.
  22. There will be only ONE teamspeak dev max two in which is given permission by a Community Founder and both dev’s can cooperate completely together.
  23. Teamspeak Ban Appeals will only be done on the forums and can only be Accepted / Denied by a Head TS Admin Or Founder. DDosing, Avoiding bans in any way or Advertising other servers will not be appealed.
General Channel Rules (GCR)

  1. Channels are locked for a reason. Unless allowed, asked or of high staff, Do not join the channel without permission.
  2. If you join a public or private channel and the owner or a high ranking person of that channel removes you or asks you to leave within reason, proceed to do so without making comments or any unnecessary actions so as to avoid all conflict. If a majority of the members ask an individual to leave the channel on the basis of mic spam, derogatory language or antagonization of players, this individual MUST proceed to exit the channel without comments or any unnecessary actions so as to avoid all conflict.
  3. Mic spam is NOT ALLOWED IN ANY channel.
  4. Rules made by Channel Admins [Owners] for private and public channels cannot contradict any TS rules that are listed.
  5. Channel groups are not to be given out unless you are the channel admin (owner) of that exact channel. (exceptions: TS Staff & Supervisors if needed)
  6. Recording without permission from all members involved in the recording is not allowed in private or public channels and cannot be used as any formal evidence in staff related issues. Their consent must be in the recording. However if recording reason is valid and announced, consent to everyone IN the recording is null and void. (You can freely record staff just talking to each other or you).
  7. Voice changers are BANNED from the teamspeak in all public channels but not in private channels if AUTHORIZED by the owner of the channel.
  8. If you fail to read channel descriptions before proceeding with actions against the channel rules (even joining) and you are kicked/banned it will not be dealt with due to failure on your part.
  9. VALID disrespect on any staff or player be it public channel/staff channel or even private will result in the necessary punishment given by the person of interest.
  10. Rooms with specified purposes such as the Meeting Rooms must only be used for purposes they were created for.
  11. Only rooms such as meeting rooms in the public section of the teamspeak and private channels are allowed to have passwords/talk power/join power etc.
  12. Racism / Racial Slurs are not allowed and will be followed by a kick from the server as a warning and then a ban by TS Staff. Keep it to your private channels only.
  13. Soundboards are allowed in ONLY private channels when given permission by the channel OWNER.
  14. Channel Admin [Owner] shall only be given out by the Head Teamspeak Admins when required. There should also only by a max of 2 Channel Admins per public channels and 4 per private.
  15. If you are a Channel Admin/Moderator YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED to give out tags unless it is necessary. This means the only tags you should be giving out are the ones to your battalion members belonging to your battalion/crew/server/squad/etc. Unless there is no available staff on you are not to be using these powers.
  16. If a channel is not privately owned it is considered a public channel. Channels like Battalion Channels from CW, Halo Squads and units, etc are all public channels. GR Supported Games are also public channels.

Private Channel Rules (PCR)
  1. Privately owned channels are to not EXTERNALLY show anything that is against TS rules. You are free to internally do as you wish in your own channel in regards to mature content [Racism, Slurs, etc], as long as it does not disturb users outside of that private channel. If you’re sharing links or conversations that would normally violate TS rules you MUST have 18+ in your channel name or description for users to be warned of the content inside.
  2. The rules SPECIFIED for private channels in the General Channel Rules section still apply to private channels (GCR #3)
TS Warning Rules

  1. Only Teamspeak Staff are allowed to give out TS warnings or punishments. Non TS staff who do so will receive “TS Perms Probation”.
  2. Only a Head Teamspeak Admin is allowed to remove or repeal a warning.
  3. Warning’s will only be handed out after a ban from the server for any reason.
  4. We have up to 3 tiers of Teamspeak warnings, once you get to TS Warning 3 you’re on your last legs. If you get banned after you have TS Warning 3 it’s a TS Perma Ban
