Hello guys! So I was thinking the world of possibilities that gaming gives you, even to play with people from different cultures, I had the opportunity to play with people from different countries, I even learn some words -bad words lol- in french because of it, so I was wondering have you ever play with people from different countries apart from yours? How was the experience? Did you learn something about their culture? or not so much? Comment!

I agree with you. In every single clan that I've been in so far, we always had people from different parts of the world... anywhere from U.S., Mexico, Spain, Italy, Germany, Ireland, Scottland, UK, France, Russia, Turkey, Japan, China... name a country and we've probably had a member of it in our guild. One of the World of Warcraft guilds that I was in back in the vanilla was really big, over 500 members so you could interact with many people. I have learned a lot from other members and about their culture, the way they live at their home, their routines and schedules. I think that it's good for you as a person to learn about different cultures because it makes a more well-rounded individual.

Hi, Everyone! I have been clans that had lots of people from around the world. The clan I am in now as two of us from the U.S we are friends in irl. the other's are from Brazil and Austrailia. so it makes it hard to do group stuff with each other because of the difference in time zones. the Braziling are great people, however some times because of the language difference we get confused on what the other person is saying. and we go to the wrong place or get the wrong item etc. but it always gets a good laugh out of most of us. I have made really good friends from Aussie-land I feel like we are friends irl, we have had skype parties where 3 or for of us watch movies on skype together, sometimes it is kinda funny because they will say lets watch this new movie it just came out on DVD and I saw it like last year, of course, some times this is true for me also I think the movie is just coming out and they have already seen it months ago.

I love to do it, the most of my friends are from different countries, I've been in so many guilds and clans from around the globe and that's why I always search for a cool clan name, normally it has a lot of people from different Countries. The things I've learnt are words, how different we all speak. Besides how they live, what they eat, those genera things, and it's really amazing to spend time knowing about other sites culture.

Yes I have played with people from different countries in every guild that I have ever been in. And it always makes huge problems fro raids because someone is always going to suffer. And the same can be said during their normal gaming hours, they have to suffer because no one else is logged in the game late at night and they cant get help with anything. That's why its best to play in a guild with people from your own time zone.

I haven't but I think my roommate has. He played Mafia Wars with people from all over the world. It was an intense game, but all it really had to offer was interaction. The game was just a matter of button pushing so it really wasn't all that exciting in terms of games and how they go.

Exactly! that's the point! becoming a well-rounded member of society by blending or mixing with other cultures, learning and interacting with them. I think at the end a group that interacts a lot is the ultimate goal because they'll function better and are less likely to dissolve.

Yes I've been to clans with different members from different parts of the world. Sometimes it gets confusing if one of your clan mates doesn't know how to speak English then he speaks in his native language then you all go "WHAT?! I don't understand you". The advantage is you will learn a thing or two of what most of your clan mates language. The disadvantage is that you left out some of your clans mates and sometimes they will be offended and have the impression that you're talking about them and somehow they can't take it eventually they leave.

Playing Top Eleven football manager online game gave me the experience and interaction of playing with various people from different parts of the world. It's an online football manager game whereby players are real and the competition is real just like in real life, the only difference is that the competition is now carried out in the game simulation.

The game have made me mixed with people from France, Russia, Brazil, Britain, USA, Netherlands and even Romania. I have a friend in Romania called Vlad, we are now very good friends outside the game and it's being nice knowing him. I also have one Netherlands, he is Marcel but I prefer calling him Marcellous. He is quite a funny fellow. All these were made possible by just playing the game.
