Which Is Convenient For Gaming

I love to use my keyboard for gaming and most times I keep losing and my brothers tells me It because I'm using the keyboard that I should use the USB pad for flexibility and convenience but I'm always comfortable with the former.
What do you all think?

Not really sure what you mean, but if you keep "loosing" in the games it probably doesn't come down to hardware. Before I got my equipment I still was doing really well in multiplayer games with just basically office-style keyboard/mouse.

Now with a mechanical keyboard and gaming mouse I have noticed improvement, but it wasn't because of the hardware mainly came down to improvement with reflexes, mentality, skill etc.

HOWEVER, I would recommend using ALL wire geared (exception of headset). Wired mice/keyboards provide greater input and quick response times and are generally better quality than their wireless counterparts.

Are you talking about a using a usb controller over keyboard and mouse? I just think it's personal preference, I prefer to use a wireless controller over keyboard and mouse. To me I can play the game 100 times better with a wireless controller then I can with keyboard and mouse.

P.S. I use a wireless controller on my PC and honestly I don't notice any difference between wired and wireless.

I think it is a preference issue. What types of games are you playing by the way ? I only use controller to play FIFA.

True. I prefer wired peripherals too instead of wireless specially when it comes to mouse and keyboard. Sure headset can be wireless as it really doesn't affect your gameplay that much but those two I mentioned are very essential specially when it comes to response time.

Well it depends on many factors.. The game, and how you play it. There are some games that are better played with a controller, and other with a mouse and a keyboard. In which games you keep losing? If they are something like FPS I think using a controller on PC won't make any difference - it would make things only harder, since other players using mouse and keyboard will have better aim than you.

I personally prefer to use the keyboard. I am more used to it. It is better to play some games using the keyboard and others using the USB pad. If you have the USB pad maybe you can try to use it and see if it makes any difference. You can also play different types of games to test if the USB pad is actually better.

Arhh, why would i use a keyboard when they is a USB controller, it's a no no for me, although it depends on preference and the individual in question. because i have seen people who like playing with the keyboard, than using a USB controller. but i find irritating, playing my games with the keyboard, it removes the thrill and takes the enjoyment away from me. or maybe because am a soccer fan.

Yeah, it really just depends on your own preference? You might try using a USB controller and see if you can do better with it. But really, just play however you like, and however you enjoy playing! That's the most important thing!
