Started with an NES and my parents bought it used as a family console. Still have it but it's collecting some serious dust now. Our favorite game used to be Jackal. Nice little car shootemup game. Can never forget the time my mom would always struggle how to shoot a grenade lmfao.

I first started playing games on my PC. I remember playing Super Mario, Pac Man, Need for Speed, Age of Empires, Commando, The SIMS, Counter Strike and many other interesting games. I used to save my pocket money at that time only to buy some games. I also used to play flash games.

I started with NES so I've been a gamer for almost my whole life. I just love games and everything that has to do with it. I don't have the NES anymore but I do have an emulator on my computer that has every single ROM that was released for it... so it's quite easy to get some of the nostalgia back.

I loved to play:
- Super Mario Bros.,
- Kirby,
- The Legend of Zelda,
- Mega Man 2.

and more. It really had so many amazing games.

It was the NES for me as well. Super Mario Bros. and Mega Man 2 were all I played back then, although I enjoyed a Duck Hunt match or two with my brother once in a while (it was mind-blowing for us to be able to play with actual guns without having to go to arcades, really). I'm glad I started with that one, since I was able to enjoy the evolution the gaming industry has undergone through the years even more.

I have started out with PC 486. It was a beast almost 20 years ago. Nowadays a low-end smartphone is like a super computer compared to it. :D

I started with PC but I can't really say it was a start because I played mostly flash games and I didn't have much of a taste for gaming back then. Then I got a PS1 and even though I played a little more I still couldn't call myself a gamer. Things started to change When I got a PS2. The quality and amount of games got me hooked so I consider it my "first" console

I started playing video games on the NES in 1984. I can still remember the day that my parents brought it home. My brother and I were so excited, I don't think I slept that night lol. And no I don't have it, I wish I had it and to be honest I don't even know what happened to it.

The Atari 2600 was my first home system, but my first video game was a Pac-Man machine at an American Army barracks near Frankfurt Germany int he mid 80s. It's hard to explain how phantasmagoric that was for people back then, looking so primitive by modern standards. But the lights and the sounds were unique and exciting, especially to a kid. One of the most classic games in history started a life long love affair with the medium for me.

I started to play the games on Play Station one first. It is the Play Station that enthuse excitement in me about games. Prior to this I always heard about games being great and enjoyable. I did not know about it. But Play Station came as friend that help me out to give me immense satisfaction in games.

I'm kind of jealous. The original Playstation has some of the best games ever made. Final Fantasy VII is routinely still cited as one of the best games of all time on lists to date. Did you have any titles that were especially influential on your tastes going forward? Do you still keep up with those franchises which still release?

I started with a PS1 that was gifted to me by my parents on my birthday. I remember that it was secondhand because we weren't financially stable but it meant so much to me. It changed my life because it made me discover how wonderful video gaming is. I played many games such as Bomberman, Crash Bandicoot, and Megaman. I think I would not have grown love for console gaming weren't it for that PS1.

I originally started with PS1, I'd spend hours on end playing games on it. I then went to PS2, original Xbox, PC, Wii and then Xbox 360 and so on..

I forgot to mention that I also had the SNES as a kid and only one game on it - "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past". Unfortunately, it was in German so I didn't understand anything. Still, it was a fun game. :)

The first console I had was the Nintendo 64, my parents got it for me when I was 5 years old and I loved playing with it so much. I remember spending most of my day playing games I shouldn't have played at that time, such as GoldenEye and Perfect Dark, but I surely enjoyed Super Mario 64 and Yoshi's Stori quite a lot.
