I've been using Logitech 300 series with no mousepad. It was a great mouse for wow because of the four buttons in addition to the wheel and the two clicks.

No, these newer gaming mouses that are wireless don't use batteries anymore. You charge them up with USB cable - so if you'd suddenly run low on power (you can even easily check by a press of a button), you simply plug the USB cable in and keep playing normally. Gaming wireless mice are becoming a bit popular now, especially in the League of Legends competitive scene... some pros have already switched over.

There is literally no lag, no delay, no issues. It is like playing with a wired mouse minus the annoying cable that drags your mouse. I'd recommend you try it some day :)
Yeah, wireless mouses have come a long way now. Back then they were perceived only for casual stuff like work. Didn't know they will have an appeal in the gaming industry. The "no tangled wires while playing" surely helps their case.

Yep! I even used wireless mouse back when they were still mainly powered by batteries... those were much, much worse. On a few occasions the batteries ran out completely randomly and I was stuck afking during important in-game moments. It was annoying as hell and I even temporarily switched to a cable mouse. But now that they've come such a long way, you will honestly hardly notice any major differences :)

Lol I use a Lenovo office mouse that I got for free. I also have a basic Logitech wireless mouse for my laptop if I need it. I've never seen the need to get a really expensive gaming mouse. My criteria for a mouse include: Left Click? Right Click? Scroll? All right we're set!

wow, my friend also had one of those wireless mouse that is run by batteries, there were times where it would completely just die on him as if the battery was drained. Then 30 minutes later it'll work again like nothing happened.

He is still using this mouse up to this day. I don't know how he can manage to play with such a faulty mouse and he plays online shooters too, so I don't know how he's not annoyed by his mouse failing randomly during matches.

I am currently using a logitech hyperion fury g402. It feels heavy at first but feels really good once you are up and playing any fps game. I also like how I can adjust mouse sensitivity with just a click of the button on the mouse. and last but not the least, logitech mouse feels very durable. When playing or clicking on a mouse button, I tend to press heavily and a generic mouse button would feel loose after a few months. My current mouse has been with me for a year now and it still feels intact and brand new.

You will notice huge gains if you upgrade to a more precise Gaming mouse, especially if you play any Fps games. On the other hand I know you can get by with "basic" mouse gaming as well having used a $5 batterie driven mini mouse for several months :).

I had those wireless mouse in back. And turned out that they were more of maintenance. You can see that the wired mouse are lot better in that case. You may want to make use of the wired mouse in such case. I have one and this can be a good investment considering it works for the same as well.

My mouse says: Quatt, I think because it's very old and I can't read the proper name of it. I need a new mouse, I know. My big brother said that will pay a new one when he pays his credit card this month, I have to remember him to do it.

I am irritated when my friend's wireless mouse fails when we play Dota 2. In an important team fight, his hero will suddenly AFK due to his mouse issues. After that, he switched to a Deathadder and we had no issues since then. Wired mice over wireless mice for me when it comes to games.

I just use a wired, random Trust mouse, one of the cheapest ones around. Bought it six years ago, and it's starting to wear out just now (a few missed clicks here and there), so I'll probably replace it soon... with an equally cheap mouse. I don't need anything higher than 1200 DPI for my typical usage.

I use a Razor Naga mouse, which I enjoy. But I don't need that .001 microsecond demand that I hear people swearing by. To me its like the entire 120-240hz monitors. I can't see the difference between the two and I am pretty certain that most people can't. I heard a friend talk about how there's only a small percentage of the population that can in fact see it, but I don't know how true that is as I've never looked it up.

I had been using a black Logitech mouse, wired, 2 buttons, very lasting mouse that had helped me to earn money online for the past 5 years. Although the scroll isn't listening, I don't care because I can scroll by click and push up or down the side bar.

I'm currently using SteelSeries Sensei for gaming. I know what you are goind to say, I know it's a wireless mouse, but it's really good, it does the job. I use it to mostly play CS GO and Dota 2. It handles great when playing CS, gives a great feeling, suits my hand and also is customizable and fullfills my dpi rate.

I guess if you are playing mechanically intensive games, you might need that kind of mouse. But, I play games that require good mouse but I still play decently so I guess it is not that important.

Currently I'm using the Logitech M185 wireless mouse. I've been using this model for over 2 years and I confess that it's being the best mouse model I've ever had so far.
