These days I am not much quick on buying games. Instead I am mostly saving up the money. Also have the queue to finish. I guess this December I am going to be busy playing the games one after another. And that seems to be changing the way things are with my library. I have saved up a lot of money there for that.

I usually buy a game once every 3 months. The reason is that I work 6 days a week and as a result of its hard for me to analyze which game is worth it to pay. I don't want to pay something that is useless. I work hard for the money that's why I want to buy that is worth it to play. Another reason why I buy the game every three months is that of my tight budget. Like I said I'm working, therefore, all my expenses are up to me such as food and bills.

hahaha... buying games is out of the question for me. This may be because i find it hard to be addicted to gaming. there are lots of wonderful games available for free downloads online, and that is how i got some of my wonderful games in my collection. LOL
I agree that there are millions of good games that are good to play and completely free as well. But still buying a new game once in a while helps to keep up the gaming charm.

Not very often even in this year I haven't bought a single game. Actually when I was a kid I do share my games with my cousins and friends and similar the would share theirs with me too. So over time I have kept the culture of sharing games and i hardly buy new games because at least one of my friend will get it and I just wait and get it from him too. More so there are many free games as regards online games so I hardly buy.

@amitkokiladitya... Yes I agree with you on that...I have made financial donatiins to some free game developers just to encourage them. Its also my way of keeping the game fever alive.Lol

I usually buy 2 to 3 games once a month. Yeah, but if it's off season and there's no new title or game to purchase, then I buy only the most suggested game. It's easier on the pocket that way. You don't have to break your bank. There are also times when I don't buy a game at all, but that's very rare.

I do not buy games so often. I only buy the games I am sure about. I am not the kind of gamer that goes around trying any game. I am currently playing DOTA, Minecraft and Call of Duty, so I usually only buy games when something new is coming.

I dont buy games often lol. I buy games around once every two months lol because i cheap as hell. I only buy games if it makes me curious or interested or if the hype is super strong. Although i buy super cheap games at steam lol. Sometimes i'll buy even more steam games during steam seasonal sales which i often than not regret cause i wont actually get to play with all of them haha.

I don't like to spend money, so I don't buy games very often. I usually wait till they're on sale. If it's cheap I might buy it without much forethought, but a lot of times I wait to buy a game until I know I'm going to play it immediately. For example, I haven't bought the new Fire Emblem game yet because I'm busy with other things and I know I won't want to play it right away. I doubt it'll go on sale before I buy it, but at least I can save my money for now lol. I don't like having a big game queue, because I feel...overwhelmed, I guess? If I have too many options, I can't make a decision and I end up not playing anything lol.

Usually my cousins are the ones that buy the games, then we exchange them with common friends, sometimes we sell them again to invest in new ones, and sometimes I order 1 or 2 online. Last time I bought one was about 3 months ago, a gift for my god-daughter, and before that I bought the latest version of FIFA, so let's say every 3 months.

I have a tendency to be a year or more out of date at any given time. So I do buy games pretty frequently, but because they tend to be older I usually pay a lot less for them. I only buy new games when they're online experiences where it's important to be on the initial wave of people moving through the game's content. You don't want to be a level one player facing off against a whole game-full of level 100's, you know?

I only buy games when I feel that the game will suit my taste. If there are many good games in a month, I will still spend the money so I would say that it depends. Based on last year, I bought one game every financial quarter.

Yes! Steam I think it is the best place to find very cheap games (and if someone here knows about somewhere you can buy it even cheaper, let us know lol!) When I was obssesed about gaming I used to spend almost all of my money buying games. Now I became more picky about games and I only invest in the ones I am really really interested in.

I like your spirit. To remain content with what we have is a great quality and only a few people have this. You are a real blessed soul to have this awesome human virtue.
Speaking of patience, there's this thing called "patient gamers" or something where communities form and wait for games they want to be cheaper. Either because they can't afford the standard price, or their systems can't match the requirements, so they'll wait for a few years before getting the game. With that tactic, the game would have been discounted heavily by then, released DLCs, updates, and patches, and even a Game of the Year edition with all content into one, with a massive discount. You save money from buying it at the release, and you et a more complete game. Downside is that you will have to wait years for a new game to be at least 60% discounted during sales.

All you said is absolutely correct both theoretically as well as practically. If we look around us then we will find many members of the so called "patient gamers" community. Most of us are not lucky enough to have immediate access to every game we want. Patience is a great virtue that is helpful in all aspects of life including playing games. The hard truth is that sooner or later we get access to one desired games.

I usually buy games on sale, but not that often. I buy games that I really want to play and have been waiting for a long time. Before that, I usually play some demos or watch some gameplay videos. I don't like spending lot of money on games, I already have a large library of games on steam, of which, I play 3 or 4.
