When I'm really obsessed with a game I tend to dream a lot with it, right now I only play one game which is League of Legends, so every time I have a great day playing, winning a lot of games, I dream about those wins or any other thing related to LoL. It's really funny, I love those dreams because I can enjoy my night with things I like.

Well, I think I'm more addicted to candy than addicted to the game, or maybe the game is making me more crazy about candy. Anyway, yes, I have an addiction, and yeah I'm going down the path, haha

I think candy or games are messing with your mind (maybe in not a such good way... be careful, haha :pepe:).

Ok guys, I just had the craziest dream last night. It was a nightmare, actually. I dreamed Vladimir Makarov was chasing me to kill me and my whole community... horrible. I had to kill him first lol

I love knowing these "weird" nightmares of other players. I mean, it's always something very funny to read.

Pretty much all the time. Unless I am not enjoying the said game. In most cases, I end up performing actions from my sleep (like racing or fighting an opponent). Sometimes they (people around) think I've gone nuts. They're right. Lol

Don't worry :pepe:, I totally understand you... You're not alone in this world. I can guarantee you this.

Are you SO addicted to League of Legends at THAT level? Oh, my...

It has happened to me in the past, when I use to play mmorpgs and when I was on a serious grind fest and hardly sleeping. I would wake up in the middle of the night pouring sweat and dreaming about grinding. But those days are behind me now and I only play Minecraft and I only play 1~3hrs a day and some days like today, I don't even play at all.

But you no longer want to play any other type of game anymore? Or is it because you really don't have the time for it?

It is common for me to dream about the events, people and places that I experienced during that day, so I say yes. My most memorable dream about a game was one time I played Dr. Mario for so long that all night I played it in my dream. Litterally nothing but the screen and endless pills! lol!

That never happened to me, sounds like a strange experience. I like games and gaming a lot, but it never happened.

Not dreaming while sleeping but dreaming while awake. Sorta like fantasizing i guess. I do it all the time lol specially when i'm super bored.I usually dream about what if scenarios mostly in MOBA. Like what if i do this certain build, will I win? will it be effective? those kinds of stuff. I also fantasize about games that I wish existed.

I had those days when I purely dream of the game. I have those levels inside my memory. And as you can see that it is not going to be always good dreams. So depending on what you play that affects your mind. In some cases you'd find that some horror games may not make up a good memory there. For each one of us it can be different.

Dreams about gaming make us land up in an unknown virtual world. This journey can be exciting and mesmerizing for some but they always leave me restless with a heavy head. I keep wondering if I'm getting over obsessed with games. This self evaluation disturbs me a lot. The main reason is that I prefer to live a well balanced life focusing on all streams of life.
It's okay, dude. Really! You don't have to worry about it. You are not obsessing. You're just having a nice little journey. It's important to maintain a balance between the virtual and the real world, which you also said, that you liked to do. Keep a tab on your activities and relax for a while. You can do some yoga before sleeping. Shavasana is good. Or you could read a few good books before sleeping. Some religious ones would be better if you're into religion. And if not then Read a simple story book. Hope this helps. See ya!:androidthumbsup:

I actually don't like dreaming after I play or dreaming at all , because I feel I don't get that much of a rest and wake up all stress and overwhelm.
How you wake up stressed after sleep, what how! sleep is the best way to remove stress, don't you get enough sleep hours?
try to just chill with it don't try to understand the whole dream just go with it if you get stressed during maybe try go to a doctor or something.
It's wierd man first time i have ever read something like this.

Absolutely none.

I just found it funny the way you said it. That's all. You have the right to like any game you want. :pepe:
Thank you thank you, that's right. Why is it fun? :tearsofjoy: I'm laughing because all my friends also say that everything I say it's very funny and I don't know the reason, I'm not a clown...well, maybe a little haha. I want to know.

I didn't say after sleep, I said after waking up of a dream. It's like I don't get enough rest when I dream so I rather not to...

I am pretty sure that the only time I've ever actually dreamed about a game, like many others have already posted, is when I am going through and playing the game for several hours straight and usually right before bed. It doesn't usually work like that I've found which is kind of sad because I am sure that the full VR that my mind provides is better than the game I am playing hah! Still, I don't think that I've ever had a BAD dream about games, they've always been pretty good.

hahaha! Yes! When I keep playing a game for so long time, I dream about it. Last time, I had a dream about something like a war. I was a soldier and I was a pilot of a Black Hawk. It was an amazing feeling, and I loved that. That happened to me another time as I remember, I dreamt that I was driver. I was driving a Formula 1 car. I know it is really funny to say that, but I feel happy when I dream like that.

There are times when I get so addicted to a particular game that I think of it even while sleeping . I can so well recall the background music and the graphics that it appears that I'm actually playing the game.

Do you also play games in your dreams?

Absolutely! When I was growing up my game of choice was Pokemon. I can't tell you how many hour I spent a day on leveling up my creatures. I wanted to be the best out of my friends, so tirelessly I continued to play into the morning. Still today I can remember that crazy annoying Pokemon music, but it was time well wasted!!! What about all of you?

C'mon, dude. Just relax. :oof:

I found your comment funny because you were very thorough on how you dream. It seems like you take your dreams seriously.

I think this is akind of "harm" that hits - sooner or later - all video game players. :pepe:

If I were to tell all my dreams that had already involved some kind of war, I should have pursued a military career. :tearsofjoy:

This kind of addiction usually changes our life as a whole. The worst thing is that a lot of people only notice this when it's too late and the way back is very complicated. :zombiebanghead:
It happens for most gamer. Many mix game with real life. They are confuse with real to virtual life and take drastic step to get in trouble for them and their family.

There were a few times I dreamt of my game. I was part of the game and I did really fight many enemies. Finally, I was able to meet the boss but sadly I was almost defeated and when I almost died on the game, I woke up and I needed to pee in the comfort room. I just dont know or is it a coincidence that every time I was about to lose, I wake up and feel like peeing. Have you encountered this kind of situation or is it just me?
