Movies into Games

The only movie based game that I have played and enjoyed was 007 Goldeneye, it was a very, very good game, that I recommend to the people that look for some PC games with low requirement. And there is the Saw Flesh and blood game, from the saw movies, that game is awesome, a good horror survival game, I recommend it too, but it is for PS3.

Yeah, I played the first Spiderman game on the PS2 and it was quite good, moving by shooting webs was amazing. Still, the best movie/comic adaptation has to be the Batman series, hands down. It's a miracle rights were given to Ubisoft.

Wow, the memories.. The chamber of secrets game was one of the best.I had a lot of fun with all kinds of different things you could do there. Spiderman was amazing, even spiderman 3 was almost GTA-like. The batman series, or should I say the Arkham series is the best adaptation. The combat system looks so good, there are so many animations.

I think there are some of the games which are purely started after the movie. I remember some games like in the horror genre where the movies came first. But some games like house of dead etc where the games come first. Even with walk of the dead, you'd find that game came later but that doesn't apply to all games or movies.

Yeah, it takes a lot from Assassin's Creed's gameplay, which is spectacular at best. I've heard the LEGO Batman movie is quite good as well, although much different in gameplay and plot.
I've never tried Spiderman 3, but it does sound like a very solid game, a Spiderman-styled GTA sounds dreamy.

It looks very similar to gta in the open world, side missions and random events really make the city feel alive. Web slinging in the city looked amazing and it was really relaxing for me. For a ps2 game it had a lot of things. Batman combat system will always be remembered as one of the best. After a lot of hours you still encounter new animations, the different playable characters also play a major role in this.

Well it's mostly because those video games based on TV shows are more for money grabs rather than actual quality, since kids or at least fans of the shows would most likely buy the game if the game had the name of the show in it. Not even the actual main characters; it could even be a spin-off in a different perspective (kinda like the Telltale Game of Thrones series) where characters created for the game are played, with some appearances of the real ones on the show. Too bad since they're in the actual show, you just know they have plot armor ready at hand and they're never in any real danger.

Exactly! Most of the games are sooo poorly done -- it's obvious they were just pushed out to try to capitalize on the popularity of the movie. And it's not like I'm not susceptible to that kind of thing, lol. I remember playing the Lion King game for Sega Genesis A LOT when I was a kid & obsessed with that movie. I thought it was pretty fun at the time, and maybe it wasn't TOO bad a game, but I know for sure that the only reason *I* played it was because of the movie.

Yeah, that's probably Batman's strong point. Even compared to similar Ubisoft series, it still manages to feel fresh throughout the entire gameplay. It's hard to get bored of it.
I do remember playing a bit of the first Spiderman game on the PS2 and I agree, web slinging was amazing. It was a little hard to get used to controls, but it was lots of fun to play once you got used to it.

I wonder if they ever make the movie from the Injustice game series. As that game series shows the DC characters in it's OP form. It'd be worth to see how good are those games. Another game i'd love to see is the FEAR and the Bioshock series. It seems like a good game in that case for many reasons.

Yeah, in other ubisoft series like Assassin's Creed(which I think is still a good game, except for syndicate which had a cartoony fighting style) you see all the animations in a few hours, especially in the latest games where you now have a couple of weapons only, instead of the old ones where you had almost everything.(fists,dagger, sword, pistol, hidden blade)

Exactly. Plus, long range weapons are much more common in the Batman games, so you can mix and match them with melee weapons to create a unique battle style. That's something that I've failed to notice in my (admittedly short) experience with Assassin's Creed. Plus... I find Batman's universe to be more appealing and fitting for this kind of game. It's almost like this style was conceived to be Batman's.

DC animated shows are awesome. Their movies however, not so much. If they are gonna do the Injustice storyline, then I'd rather see it with an animated action rather than the whole Justice League thing happening right now. I've always thought the DC movies lacked the fun aspect of what comic books have, and it comes off as bland and too serious for their own good.

I know a few movies into games they are Tomb Raider and Resident Evil Although I gotta say Resident Evil has a great few chapters of the movie I mean and good Characters choices so yea Resident Evil Wins has my vote if Only Tomb Raider has a reboot
