I wonder how many people started playing games with Brick Games or Family computers here.

I cannot understand what this is about, but the person above said Super Mario was a game of these companies. I played Super Mario too with my buddies because it was so fun.I don't know what other games on Brick Games or family because I just don't know what others are. But my first games were Crash and Spyro.

I just started playing games because I had heard of them, and thought they would be fun. I had heard of Angry Birds for a long period of time and sister showed me how to play it on the phone so I was interested.

I can not remember but I played first games on my PC around 1998 or 2000, they are simple games and i started like playing games.
Half life 1 is the game I played most and some are racing games.

Somewhere around age five an Atari 2600 appeared in our house. It was like 1985-86 and I'd never seen a video game before. While I wasn't dexterous enough to really do well, the games of the time were often just a single screen so my level of maturity was pretty much on par with the sophistication of game design theory of the time. I was hooked and I had the very distinct privilege of growing up at the same time as the industry, a weird parallel development in which I seemed to always be at just the right level of maturity for what was cutting edge at the time. What a lucky life!

I got into gaming when I first got my hands into Gameboy Colored wherein I kept on playing Pokémon Yellow. I have been hooked into family computer games too after that.
I then got into PC gaming when my brothers let me come along with them when they go to internet cafés to play their RPG games, Counter Strike, or Defense of the Ancients. My interest was mostly on Counter Strike because it was easy to understand since the objectives are simple.

Well, I was already into Sega and old brick style handheld gaming consoles in my childhood.

Later I developed some interest in computer games. I remember the first 2d game I played on computer. It was Daves. Boy, I like it even now.

After that I played Aladdin and then there was no turning back. Games became a part of me. I purchased a Nintendo and the first game I played on it was Super Mario. Later Contra, Pacman, and other games became my favorite.

I became a hardcore gamer and the first CD I purchased was GTA DIRECTOR'S CUT. Before that I had played all kinds of simple PC games, such as road rash, Popeye, and all, which were either downloaded or provided by good friends.

Next I wanted to go pro, so I bought an actual console. My first PS. And now I have a PS4 and it's one of my prized possession. I am a lifelong gamer now I believe.

I think my mom just got sick of me asking for a console so she bought me one. I promptly destroyed it because it was horrible quality and couldn't handle my all-night mania. It's scary when you're a little kid, gaming at 3 AM when you shouldn't even be awake and all of a sudden the console starts smoking.

That was my first serious gaming time and afterwards it just went on the same way. Well, without the burning consoles.

Even though my first official period of gaming was when I received my Nintendo Gamecube as a gift in 2002. I started getting into playing games on a Windows XP computer. Basically, all the default games that either came on disc with the computer itself. Or preinstalled Windows games like Minesweeper and 3D Pinball. Those games made my early childhood before I really even played my first console game. So I guess you can say I started off as a PC Gamer, switched to console, and then back to PC again:sob::tearsofjoy::smirk:

For me it was playing Sonic the Hedgehog on my brother's Sega Megadrive and the odd game of Super Mario Brothers on the Nintendo 64. I had a go on an ancient Atari once too. I do remember having tetris on the original gameboy. Then I got Mario and it progressed from there. What really got me into gaming though was the PS1, a lot of games I loved were on that and I still feel the urge to replay them. That's when you know a console is legendary. I played hours of Pandemonium 1 and 2, I was really into platforming. I also played a lot of Metal gear, already loved it as a child.

I started playing video games back in 1997. I was five years old and hadn't played any games up until then. My parents didn't have money for any consoles, but thankfully my aunt and uncle handed down their SNES to me after they bought a PlayStation One. My mind was blown by the possibilities of video gaming, even if games had already moved on to 3D polygons by then. To this day the SNES remains my all-time favorite console.

The first game I played was Super Mario and a Duck Hunt game.
I played both on TV-there were some diskettes, just like a console.
Then,NFS Underground was the fist PC I've ever played.
This game was absolutely amazing in its teens. Not to forget about Sonic games.
I remember I was playing it with my cousin:)

Oh yeah, I remember Duck Hunt. It was a fun and classic game. Since I am really old, we played Pong, the earliest video game that only worked about half the time. We had it hooked up to an old TV in the basement. It was a game that was exciting to us though, since we had seen nothing like it before. It was pre Atari.

I remember that I played my first computer games in the 1990's. I used to play Super Mario, Pac-Man, Duck Hunt and many other games at that time. Later on I started playing the first Need for Speed car racing game, Age of Empires and Commando. They were definitely some good games.

Actually I don't really remember much. I was at a friend's place, still a lil kid, and they had a computer. I was like wow, since it was kinda new thing in our country. That friend played with Prince of Persia, and let me try it out. I was hooked. When I went home I talked so much about it, that we got a computer, and then I played with barbie games. Damn, I'm getting old. I still played with Floppies. (But rest assured, I'm not that old.)

I am going to go waaaaaaaaayyyyyyy back here and say I started playing video games. Because one christmas I was over my grandmothers and my uncle got a atari. Once I seen that I new I was a gamer for life. However it wasn't until 1984~1985 that I got my first gaming system when my parents bought me the original NES.

Started playing games with my family's gaming console the NES. We used to play Jackal and Mario all the time and it was really fun. I kind of miss out little get togethers because we don't even eat as a family anymore and its pretty sad.
