I'm kind of the opposite with that: I'll only stop playing until I get sleepy, but the thing is... I never do while I'm on the phone. I've tried to figure out how this is possible, since it happens just while I'm on my smartphone. PC? My eyes will close on me. Any console? I'll drop dead with the controller still in my hands. Reading? Don't get me even started on that. But I just can't seem to put my phone off. Most of the time I force myself to because I need to get up early.

Yes, with the mobile phone it is so convenient because you are just in your bed lying and resting so you can play so conveniently. I also never use the desktop of my hubby because that will require me to be seated, which I find not relaxing anymore. With my mobile, I can play while I am also resting my tired body.
Hubby would wake up to urinate and seeing me awake still, he would tell me to sleep already or I will be sleepy at work. To that, I will already go to sleep.

Playing mobile games can be captivating you know. An advantage is the fact that the mobile device is handy and portable not cumbersome. I go to any length to get my battery charged most especially if am on a journey to get myself busy and ease boredom. I get so fascinated playing mobile games and often times i get a battery drain..so funny but the excitement and fun i derive goes beyond mere articulation of words put together...smiles:smile::smile::smile::smile::smile::yum::yum::yum:

Yes, the mobile phone can really be so handy to play especially when one is traveling. It keeps you busy so much busy that before you knew it, you were at your destination only. As to draining your battery, be sure to have your power bank.
This mobile games can really be helpful in entertaining us, so as not to get bored while traveling or waiting for someone.
I also love playing my favorite simple game on my mobile, when I want to relax.

Good point there. I think it also has to do to how we can look at the screen itself and how we have to twist our neck. I play on handheld consoles, too, for instance, but it's still more comfortable to play on the phone to me. Furthermore, phones tend to be a lot lighter, so you can place it higher or even rest on your side while playing.
It's good to have someone to call you out, though. Mobile games are so addictive we don't even realize how much time has passed, an a living alarm is really the best you could ask for, haha.

What I do, is I prop up two pillows under my head , then one under my knees and another one on my stomach, where I can rest my hands holding my cell phone. I also bought an extension wire that is long and just under my bed so when I am running out of battery, I will just have it plugged so it's charging while I play on it.
By the way, is it bad to play on our cell phone while it is charging?

Mobile games can be really addicting. When I find a really good one, I'm able to play it all night and I won't even realize it. You are right when you say it is really nice in bed, because you can be really tired and still have energy to play, with a console you can't do that. While traveling I prefer listening to music, games will make my battery percentage drop and I wouldn't want that to happen if I'm traveling. Unless you spend a lot of money on a very big power bank, but if I'm going to do that, it better be a really good game :)

Sounds like quite the setup (and very comfortable, too, haha).
I'm not sure about it. What I've heard is that batteries wear out because of how many times you charge them, not because of how long you keep the charger plugged in. Using your phone while it's charging only makes it take more time, but I don't think it should have any consequences on the battery itself.
What I'm a little concerned about is the wire running under your bed. Maybe I'm just being paranoic, but you never know when/if a short circuit is gonna happen. There have been too many reports of things catching fire because of faulty chargers. Stay wary!

It is a good thing not to have a power bank, then. It makes you stop from playing lest your battery will be drained.
Playing games can really be battery draining. I don't have a power bank because I don't usually travel. I play only for a short time - while traveling from the office to our house in the evening. It is my means of relaxing. Then, when at home and when I wait at the doctor's clinic for my turn. When I see that it is nearly 30%, I stop and just watch people go by already.

Yes, I noticed it takes time to charge the battery when I am playing and it is charging at the same time. I also notice, my battery seems to take faster to be drained when I play games or when I use my mobile data. In fact, I charge my phone everyday. I am afraid, I might be buying a new one soon.
I take it from being charged when I wake up to urinate. :yum:

I think that kind of battery drain is normal. Mobile data and games consume more power than wi-fi and standard navigation, obviously, so it's normal. How old is your phone and how much does it hold its charge? You could buy a small powerbank and carry it around to solve the issue (still better than buying a brand new phone just for that, right?). You could even buy a battery with increased amperage, if your phone allows you to change them.

So you mean that its a game where there are no levels, but it just keep repeating the same pattern of game?
How were you able to stop such addiction ?
Yes! Well basically there are levels, but once you finish all of them you'll have to repeat one certain map over and over again because this one particular item that's worth selling only drops in there. It was a hard struggle for me, if I recall correctly, I've tried to quit the game 3 times before I eventually succeeded on my 4th try. I think what really got me off the game is the fact that I broke my phone :/ If I didn't break it, I would've probably still be addicted to it today.

I am not a big fan of playing mobile games but I do sometimes play it when I have free time but not at the cost of losing my sleep. The screen is small and it also not good for your eyes plus, my eyes start to hurt after a while resulting in a headache which will last for a day. For these reasons, I have stopped playing mobile games for hours and minimized it. Now I just play angry birds whenever I feel like relaxing for a while. :)

Oh, gaming consumes more than WIFI and standard navigations. No wonder, when I am playing at my mobile the battery drains faster. My phone will be 30 months old by November and I will be renewing my contract again. There will be a free phone, but I will be choosing one that is of good quality and pay some extra. Yes, maybe I should buy a power bank also.

Ha ha ha You are really addicted to it. Perhaps when you get a new phone, you will install it once again.

Very good, because you choose your sleep over playing a game. I have to learn that from you because it can really make me forgo of sleeping for playing more levels at my mobile at night. ha ha ha

That's very nice indeed because it is actually your group's bonding time since I suppose each of you have their jobs as their priorities. Thus, having this gaming thing as a team, helps all of you to relax from your jobs. I salute you guys for having a clean and fun way of bonding.
You gotta recruit your friends and try it also ;) the fun releases the stress we encounter every day. The more laughs and the more enjoyment, the better the life. Savor the happiness of life ;) haha

The truth is that I do not really play mobile games that much. I do have some favorite mobile games like Criminal Case, Four Pics One Word and Unblock Me. I usually play mobile games when I am travelling. I usually get frustrated when I reach my destination and have to stop playing the game. At home I mostly play games on my PlayStation.

Criminal Case on Facebook? I've played that many times also and 4 pics Word is a great game to enhance our vocabulary. I love that game though I also play a few strategic mobile games to enhance more of the function of our brain, its a good exercise also ;) hehe . I suggest you try some strategic games, those simple ones - its a good way to spend time when bored.
