I've done both whilst playing the Halo: Reach and Halo 5 campaign on Legendary

I swear to God I feel like it's more fucking luck based than skill when I was tryna play through the 2nd to last mission on Halo 5

I have done some rage quit, yes, but mostly playing MOBA... Yeah you guessed it, it was League Of Legends, that's why I quit playing it, I have no stomach for it.

I've been in the same boat as you. MOBA's can really get you going, and a lot of it is the toxic nature of the community, I think. I'd never experienced such negativity online as I did when I started playing League. It hasn't kept me from playing regularly, but it changed the way that I do play. I generally only play with a duo partner, as they'll generally have my back, which keeps me from quitting. I haven't rage quitted LoL in a long while now!

Hi, I use to have really bad rage when it came to video games, I once was playing this online game that was PVP and as you left the city some of the other player's that were like level 30+ would sit there and AOE the whole area to kill you I got so mad that I cussed out a GM when I asked him to help me get around this and he said it was part of the game. I was almost banned from the online game but I just quit playing it.

The other time when I knew my rage was just not normal for getting mad at a game is when I was playing this Xbox game and I could not get past this one level, I had a friend pass it for my on his Xbox and I finished the game, but on my Xbox I could not get past it, I got so mad I grabbed my Xbox and through it, not paying attention it went through the window, breaking the glass and the Xbox. Now when I start to get mad I just stop playing the game for a few days. (all games)

Personally i think the best approach to this is anger management, ones ability to stay calm owing to the fact is just a game and not something to be taken too personal. Is not a do or die affair...just for the fun
Can be, Since I was a child I had to handle with my anger and now I can do it sometimes in certain cases, because a team destroyed inside will not reach victory, i am sure of that, my friend and like all of us i hate loose a game

Oh, hell yeah I do...Fiesta Online, MMORPG-based game, I'm not entirely sure how much I spent but I do know its a LOT. Mostly on getting fortified the weapon to the max level however their rate to succeed was like almost 0.00001%, it seems like the game owners more likely to scam players. You need a tremendous of luck for it, as once I thought it more like gambling and I'm pretty concerned with the kids playing there. They spent $100-200 just like that. pffft.

Plenty of times I would rage especially in competitive moments or in times where I am just not performing as well as I should. I would be frustrated questioning myself, "Why am I sucking right now?/What the hell happened..."

I've never rage quit, not even once. I don't know if I'm extremely chill and zen, but I don't think I've even been moved to quit out of anger. However, I've been very frustrated many times with certain games. In those circumstances I just stand up, walk to the kitchen to get myself a glass of water, scroll the phone a bit and then continue playing. I would hardly call it a rage quit since I tend to be really calm while doing so.

The key is to know it's just a game and it isn't worth ruining your whole mood.

I usually just rage quit if my ping becomes unbearable and the game becomes unplayable. I never rage quitted because i got trashed or whatever although i might just fool around but i'll never sell out. Raging on the other hand is something that i regularly feel but i never express my rage in game but i might express frustration by saying passive agressive remarks.

Yeah, there maybe moments when a gamer might feel rage when trying to complete through a game scenario, but some petty issue messes up with everything and they have to go back to what they were doing. Like in Project IGI, an effing soldier, usually a Spetnaz pops up from behind a door that you tried to open, and it's AI you know that works for him, that he decides to go for a headshot and... Bam! You're dead. So redo the mission over again. Happens all the time, even in other games, when you're about to complete a game episode, then suddenly a silly thing pops up and you're gone. Redo please!

Of course man, every gamer has done that. I've done it recently while playing Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy. The level was slippery climb and to get a red gem you need to do the entire level without dying once and you also have to get all the boxes. Believe me, I had to rage quit before I broke something expensive like the controller, it took me 2 days to finally get that gem. Other levels who require the same thing also made me rage a lot.

I'm not that ragefueled by games, I do get out of my skin sometimes. Actually I'm more raged if one of the teammates in hots gets salty assed. It literally ruins it. It's just a game, especially if it's a quick match. ^^" But I mostly stay quiet, and don't let myself into the temptation.

Normally I view gaming as a fun activity and I don't want gaming to become a stressful. I normally don't rush when I play a game but well I do get disappointed when I lose at times. I try to take failures lightly. If I lose while playing a particular game then I stop playing the game and I try to play another game or do some other activity.

The only game that I have quit was X-men Destiny for the PlayStation 3, but it wasn't rage because I'd lose, it was because it is the WORST GAME EVER and I was so frustrated because it was a gift and I was expecting something more of that game, but well, it wasn't good at all...

Sometimes when I am doing good in a game and everything starts going bad all at once I often rage quit and then go back to the game later
