Whenever there is available time for me, I play games. It doesn't matter if it's afternoon or evening. When the games I play become tedious I take a break and go out for a walk also to get something to eat. It's not ideal for me to play games during morning since I spend my morning having breakfast with my family and do some exercises or even look for work. I try to control my gaming urges since it wouldn't help now that I have to work later on.

I play games whenever I have time, really, but somewhat more tending towards the afternoon or evening. I have fewer obligations at that time so I can enjoy myself while playing. I would prefer to have more free time, but I think that's a common desire of everyone these days...

Like most of us here, I generally prefer to play late at night after I have taken care of all of my responsibilities. However, every now and then, especially when I have a day off and a new game, I will spend several hours playing during the day, even when it is good weather outside.

If it's normal weekdays? Either late at night or early in the morning. Whenever I can squeeze in a session or two on my favorite titles. Sometimes, it can be challenging to balance work, life, and gaming altogether. But I always find a way to make time though. My only problem with gaming at night is that it can throw off my sleeping patterns at times. Which affects my schedule throughout the day annoyingly.

Like you said over-night is the best time. It's like playing in paradise (so much silence :sunglasses:).

The best is when you make late-night friends, either in-game or in real life who share that time in common with you. Night people are a weird breed; I know, being one myself. You meet the most interesting people and get to share your favorite hobby with them. It's like this little pocket world exists at the end of your day.

I would say that I'm mostly a nighttime gamer, because video games are a time for me to relax and unwind. At the end of the day, I like to do things that can distract my mind from the stress of the day, and make me forget all the thoughts that might still be keeping me anxious or tense. On the other hand, if I have a day off, the better question is what time am I not playing video games. Days off are for all day marathons.

I agree with you. I usually say that it's almost like a "parallel world". I've met lots of cool and smart people in that world.

I think there is no way to compete, the night will always be the best time to play video games. :tongueout:

Even when I have a time off, I prefer to play at night because I usually get more focused. I think during the night, the time provides a better experience.

I only play video games during the afternoon when I'm with my friends (those who live in other cities). Because it's usually the time that I usually meet with them.

Do you like to play video games in the morning? I think it's a time so unusual for players (especially for those who usually play for several hours in a row).

I usually play in the afternoon, it's a great time to have friends over and play some games all the way.
Online games are usually the worst during afternoons though. Lots of kids coming home and playing, meaning you'll get a more toxic experience with flamers and rage quitters when playing online games. Even more so in ranked. I play during the evening near midnight since the kids would be asleep by then, and I can play with fellow night owls who take the game seriously. I had crappy experience playing with afternoon kids that I just took a mental note of it and never looked back.

I usually play my games during the night. It's just more convenient for me that way because I don't study at home, only in school. I also don't really have anything to do at night, so I focus on that as my game time to keep myself from getting bored. There are also some times during the day whereas I have way too much free time and I would decide to play a casual game on my PC for a bit (preferably fighting games).

Yes, I agree with the people saying that as you get older it gets harder to make time for playing. I think it is normal. But in my case, I try to find some time to do it despite it is or not my favorite (usual) time of the day to play. I think we own to ourselfs making some time to do what we enjoy.

When I was still a student I had lots of free time and I was playing at any time of the day. Nowadays due to my full time work I actually play games at night only during weekdays. During weekends I usually play after lunch till 4 pm and then I start playing at night again.

I don't have a specific time to play games. I use to play games when I feel bored and I don't have other things to do, I use to be in my house a ot of time, because I work from home, so when I am not working I see the series that I like (now I am with breaking bad), and when I have seen all the series I use to sit in my couch and play some games in my PlayStation.

Like a said before, I really appreciate silence so I’d much rather playing at night, because is so quiet and also because it’s the time I have for me after work. In the weekends I might play in the late afternoon, especially if the house is empty.

Oh yes! I avoid online play between 3pm and 11pm EST like the plague for just this reason. I found being around that super negative environment was causing me to adopt some of the less savory attitudes and that my stress level was much higher by the end of the session. Environment matters a lot and I just don't need that kind of problem when I'm trying to unwind from my day with my favorite hobby.

I am playing games when I come home from my job, but there is an entire routine before that. I'm coming home, washing, eating, feeding my birds and after that, I open my PC read my emails first and start playing games. It must be around 18 a clock!
