I prefer PC's since they are customisable (with the upgrading of hardware parts and whatnot) but to a casual gamer, they would probably prefer a console. A console is an all in one package. After buying it, games would work on it, no need to do anything else. Performance-wise, PCs are better (provided you have high-end hardware) and PCs double as a tool you can use for something else like for work. But if you want a no-brainer play, go with a console.

I wouldn't say PC is more fun than console because that depends on a lot of things. If your friends are all on console then obviously you are going to have much more fun gaming on console than PC. Plus, I feel that the gaming community on consoles (except maybe Xbox) is a lot less toxic. With PC, you tend to find absolutely annoying gamers on there that like to say how they did things with your mum or how they are going to hack you and take down your internet access. I think PC gamers also have a higher chance of getting swatted xD

I'll have to go with console's on this topic. I just feel that console's have a longer longevity than PC's. Not only are they much cheaper to buy, they also don't require constant upgrades.
They get phased out though when a new version comes along. I remember being so disappointed when games started putting their sequels in PS3s when my PS2 was well and alive. At least for the PC if you buy a good enough rig it can play the games for the next 5 years or more without having to shell out money to replace it entirely. For the console it's just gonna get phased out eventually, and you'll have to get a new one, with all new games.

I love PC because it can substitute the console whenever you are traveling or you are bored and are far away from your console.Although,as time goes we are seeing better versions of consoles that are trying to fill the void that PCs seemingly seem to hold an advantage over traditional consoles.

For multipurpose matter I will say PC. It’s really expansive try to keep up with technology in consoles and as someone who has to buy her own games and her own tech equipment I will say pc. Also is cheaper to play in PC!. I don’t need to buy all the games like in the console and hope that they work. That doesn’t meant I don’t enjoy a good match in my neighbor console but I just can afford one myself!

It's console for me. I stopped playing on my computer ever since I got my first PlayStation (PS2). I am now used to play games mostly on my PS3. It will be very difficult for me to play games on the PC again. I am not used to play games using the mouse and keyboard.

Exactly my thought, sooner or later everything will just be PC. Almost everything that consoles can offer, PC do offer them too, with much lesser stress of acquiring them.

Personally, I'd have to say that I prefer the console.
I totally appreciate the benefits of PC formats, customization, and updates; however, I keep my gaming world separate from my personal computer for business and time-management reasons, and this creates a way for me not to be tempted to open up a game on my PC when I am in my office working from home. Also, I prefer the console because my PC is not always up for handling certain games, and the console is already designed to do so the minute you buy the game for it.

Truthfully speaking, I can put my money on PC anytime due to the fact that PC is upgrade-able unlike console that you need to buy a new one and probably abandon the previous one.
PC will just need a upgrade in RAM, Memory, VGA or graphics card which is easy to get and fix in yourself and games will be made for PC continuously unlike console that the previous console game development will stop and move to the recent console.

My honest view about this.

With the rate at which I play video games now I think it's best to just stick to playing on a console because some video games will never meet your minimum requirements. This is one thing I consider a lot and most gaming companies develop more games for consoles than they do for PC so they mostly do not develop PC versions except it was commercially successful on consoles or in cases where the fans demand for the PC version, this was the exact thing that happened when Rockstar premiered Grand Theft Auto V they only released it on consoles but people began writing petitions a lot of it just to get them to make a PC version. This and some other reasons are the reason why I choose console over PC gaming.

No disputes! Consoles are great! In fact i envy people with consoles, i have that feeling of "i wish it were mine". But on the other hand, P.C games got the advantages, ranging from its mobility i.e for laptops, to availability of crack files online, hahaha..i mean for consoles, i mostly need to buy my games. Looking on the bright side too, having my games on my P.C helps my productivity whenever i need to work with my computer as to the fact that i could take breaks and cool off with my favorite game which is Football manager at any point in time while working, whether or not I'm at home..could even be at my desk at my place of work..i mean, imagine i had to take my console to work..hahaha. On the other hand too, i think having a console is a bit immature (my opinion, I'm sorry). P.C games does it for me always! Whether sporting, adventure, warring games. WHATEVER GENRE!

Same here bro. If you look for the most bang for your buck then PC gaming is for you. I was a die hard console fan in my teens because my PC couldn't run anything but nowadays with other priorities to spend my money on PC is the way to go. Plus you don't get stuck on, last gen aye? All you need to do is upgrade your PC and you stand a good chance of playing most newer games.

It's the PC for me. I can always put money on the PC and upgrade it if need be because I can use it for work, for media and for gaming. There is also a lot of support and discounts for PC games via steam, humble bundle and gog so I never really run out of games that I can buy for the best price.

I prefer PC's because it is more comfortable using them, maybe I am an old fashion guy but I think that consoles are more for children than a man like me. Sitting in my PC chair and playing games using my mouse seems much easier for me!

I expect that will happen at some point, probably sooner than later. It really depends on whether or not console makers can strike a balance between keeping their hardware up to date with performance expectations, and well below the price of entry level gaming PCs. Right now you can buy a new console for $300 while a beginner's gaming rig can be had for $600. For my money, the console is the better deal here because it'll have new development going forward and will have software which is optimized for it specifically while the entry level pc will struggle to play old games. If you have the disposable income to spend on a proper mid-tier or higher gaming rig that is absolutely the best way to go, though.

I prefer to play games on my pc. This isn't because I don't like consoles. It's just because games I like to play are not for console or because playing some type of games, for example fps games, are a lot easier for me on a pc. You can also play a lot more games on a pc then on a console.

I love my console a PS4 more than anything. It's one of my prized possessions. So, I'll say console. It gets pretty expensive though, at times, but I think it's really worth it. I save a lot for buying console games. And I simply love it when I could do so.
