Hello guys,

this is my first topic here on forum so I hope everything would be ok and maybe I will attract some new players.

What Tera is?

Tera is open-world MMORPG with one big change in compare with other MMORPGs - you need to AIM your skills. It´s not like "boring" World of Warcraft where you only press buttons. Tera is also made on awesome Unreal Engine and the graphic is outstanding.

Does anyone here playing Tera and what´s your favourite character? Post below ;)

I used to play TERA a few years ago, I was a high elf priest. The graphics are very nice, as is the combat (it's now a criteria of mine that a game has to have action combat as one of it's features, or else I just can't get into it). I ended up quitting the game due to some guild drama, so I'm not even sure what any of the recent updates may feature. The last one I remember was a new PvP arena, but that was around Christmas 2013?

Also, the gunner class seems extremely broken to me, they're gonna need to balance that a lot better.

I played Tera's North American beta. I liked the combat system and the graphics were beautiful, but the world and quests felt completely lifeless. I didn't meet any NPC I actually cared about in my tenure there, I just saw them as means to an end (that end being getting shiny loot from quests). My enjoyment of an MMO, or any game really, is ramped up considerably when the story and NPCs are well-developed and have an impact on me as a player. The community, like every F2P game I've played, wasn't cohesive and most of it was trolling. I wonder if Tera is still the same now? Anyone playing it currently?

I played TERA a really long time ago and poke it every once in a while. The story is really not that great, and while I haven't done any of their expansion content, there was really no story content when I was playing. I would expect more of the same. Even the main web site just has a few paragraphs worth of lore.

It feels like a lot of the lore may have gotten removed in translation.

I'm only 1 hour in but I'm starting to warming up to non-tabbing games. I'll be trying both support classes of Priest and Mystic.
Just tried the smaller sized KRITIKA, and loved that ascept, though it has no healing class.

I am a few days in, and agree that the story is easily overshadowed by the power-leveling available, and lure of costumes. I tried to follow the storiy, but you are handed leveling via dungeons, which I find hard to refuse.
