I don't really do it nowadays. I remember being addicted to Age of Empires and when I first started playing this game I wanted to build the civilization quickly and also attack other civilizations as well. On a particular day I went to sleep at nearly two in the morning and couldn't wake up the other day.
I remember as a kid I got addicted to Diablo 2. First RPG-like I played and it was pretty great. That was the time too when I got my own PC, and even though it was crappy, it could still run D2 with no problems. I remember grinding at it at 4 in the morning because I wanted to beat the game so badly and I was still underleveled for the higher difficulties.

Mine in Grand Theft because of the missions I do stay up till 2am in the morning. It a terrible feeling when you work up around 6am reading for work.

I can't afford to do that as much as I used to, I'm afraid. I can manage to stay up until 1-2 AM if I know I can sleep until later, but skipping an entire night? Nope.
As for staying up until late, I've done this a few days ago for Super Metroid. It's the perfect game to play late at night, I love how much the atmosphere can benefit from it.

I would say that the last game I lost sleep over was call of duty ghosts because I was really into the competitive scene on that game and I just enjoyed playing it with my friends so we would stay up until all hours of the night playing

Recently played Life Is Strange and I lost sleep over it especially after Episode 4. It was already 1 in the morning when I finished it, and when the plot twist showed up, I really couldn't wait to play the next (and final) episode but I was just so tired at that point. I had to go to bed and do it first thing after I go back from work the next day. I couldn't wait though, since the story really enthralled me and captivated my interest.

Team Fortress 2 this past week ago. Lol it's so addicting playing on dustbowl with your friends dominating everyone.

Dota 2 the serves is just so much better at night where I'm from and I'm forced to stay up to play decent ping games

That is horrible yet awesome. Like, you know you should be a normal functioning and responsible adult, yet the game is so dope you just can't get away from it. I've been there man, with GTA especially.

If it's a last, recent game that I lost my sleep on, it will have to be League of Legends. I play with my friends mostly (These are ranked games so it's significantly better to make it a premade game) and I was up until 7 in the morning. After that I slept and woke up about 5 in the afternoon. That game really ruined my sleep cycle. No regrets though :D

The last game I lost sleep over is call of duty. There is this particular stage I couldn't get through. Funny enough I had to check all the tricks and tips I could found but yet the stage was a trouble for me. I eventually I slept off on the game while it is still running.

Let me see, it definitely has to be call of duty Modern Warfare II, myself and my friends had a bet first to finish the story mode as at veteran difficulty level, it was very difficult so I had to play some missions over and over again at night and midnight thanks to check point saves it was a helpful. But in all ending that game in about a week was quite hard.

The last game I lost sleep over was Fruit Pop. Though the game is not difficult, the tendency to start all over again when one is gamed over makes it tedious and time consuming.
I had an all night for the game.

I have had such an experience before several times. One of which was my friend and I. It was FIFA we were playing throughout that night. I said I was better than him but he wouldn't accept. So we had to play several times before he accepted I was better than. We spent the whole night playing and replaying.

I totally experienced that before with Resident evil. I spend day and night playing it. But honestly it was a bad experience because i noticed some changes in my body, less sleep.
God yes, I remember this. I was such a scaredy cat when I was a young kid, and I hated playing horror games. My mom was always the one into playing the horror games and I would just watch her do it. Sometimes I find myself being awake at 3 in the morning just watching her progress as it gets more and more intense over time. Thankfully we both had proper sleep once she finished the game lmao.

The problem is when you play a game that you love, you can't stop playing no matter what is happening.
Before, sometimes i stay hungry just to keep playing and not waste time for anything else except playing. All the attention i have is focusing in the game and nothing else. But now thanks God, I gave limits for playing.

Basketball Hero - an online PvP basketball game. This is currently only available on Android. Sucks to be a pure Apple user huh?

OK, more on this game. In Basketball Hero, you can choose to play either 1on1, 2on 2 or 3on3. You can play against the AI (in career mode) or against real people in PvP mode.

Career mode is easy. The real beef is in PvP mode as you battle on other players from across the globe. The game is greatly addicting - you get to choose what type of position you want, get to purchase gear, increase your characters skills and abilities, and many more. It's a wonderful time waster. If you're a basketball fan, you have to grab this game asap.

lmao I know the feeling. When there's nobody to share the bandwidth with, that's the only time you can consistently have internet speed which is a major factor in online gaming. I remember in college we had this wifi that the entire building could use, so I had to stream basketball games as well as play Dota 1 online during 1 in the morning. I knew it wasn't very healthy but it was the only time I had all the internet speed to myself.

The last game I lost sleep over was probably some Tower Defense mod on Warcraft 3 . My friends and I kept going at it for 24 hours with minimal breaks. It was fun but I was so exhausted the day after.

I saw that game when I was still in school. It was along with Dota 1 which was passed around in USBs for their save files. There's even a minigame where you can only play as Mirana and you have to use the arrow to hit your friends. It was fun, but the tower defense thing got old fast for me, and I chose to play (and really try to master) Dota 1 since I figure it was the one that's gonna be huge one day. I was right though, since I haven't heard any tower defense game based on WC3 since then.
