Bethesda's conference was horrendous. Just a 10 minute speech from the guy and the rest was 20 minutes of video packages for games. They even included reactions from Youtube viewers who clearly did not know anything about the Elder Scrolls franchise since they can't even recognize a simple Dwarven Sphere when it came on screen. The audio sync was 1 second delayed, and they didn't show any new games. Just a bunch of new sequels and DLCs, and oh, paid mods again. Fun.

As a retired Pokémon trainer I couldn’t help myself but to feel a little warmth in my chest when I heard that they were making a new game to be released on the Nintendo Switch. I, for one, was not even considering buying a Switch, but after hearing that we’ll finally have a main Pokémon game that I can play on my living room TV, I’m probably going to buy one as soon as they’re available in the nearest store.
This is what I've actually been looking forward to ever since E3 2017. I can't wait to buy the new Pokemon game for the Nintendo Switch I just recently bought.

The Nintendo fan in me is pleased with this year's conference. I can't deny I jumped from my seat when they announced Metroid Prime 4, even though they didn't show anything (the hype is strong in this one), and when they revealed out of nowhere that they had a Metroid II remake ready to launch in a couple of months I felt ecstatic.
As for the other conferences...Microsoft's was better than last year, that's for sure. Beyond Good & Evil 2 was quite the surprise. I wasn't particularly impressed by Sony's, but I wasn't all that interested in it.
Another pleasant surprise was that Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer. It definitely made up for the lack of news about the FFVII remake.
