I remember my first video game. It was "Heroes of Might and Magic 3". Still one of my favorite games of all time. I spent hours and hours playing it when I was a kid. Now it annoys me that it is turn-based, so the AI takes a long time to finish it's turn but still, it is amazing. I don't like the new ones that much though. "Heroes 4" was fine.

I can't remember my first console exactly, but I know that my first game was Super Mario. I was obsessed with it. I got it when I was 7 years old, so 20 years ago.
I think Super Mario is one game which is the part of everyone's childhood. It was a big addiction of those days. I really wish that I can play it again now. My desperation for this game is reoccurring and that too in full form.

Tricky one. I first watched Resident Evil Survivor when my cousins played it. I first played the original Diablo game for the PS1 briefly to try the console out when my uncle showed it to us. First real game was the Tarzan game on the PS1, but like I said it was my uncle's so I didn't own it. I got a GBA as a kid and the first game there was Pokemon Yellow, so I guess that would be technically my first game played fully and completely, and it was 100% mine.

My first video game was Jackal for the NES. Used to play together with my family and we had a blast with family game nights in front of the TV. My mom was never big into video games but Jackal was different. She actually had fun to play even though she was really terrible at it lol. She would rage about the final boss, the huge tank at the end. Fun times!

The first video game I ever played was Mario Kart Wii. I was part of the 20th century generation so I never experienced game systems like the GameBoy or NES.

Hi, of course, I do remember the first game I have ever played, it was Mario. I will never forget how fascinated I was by this game! I have played it for days and I could not stop until I started another game. Nothing compares to that feeling of the first time you play a game! It is new, fresh and has unknown challenging levels!

My first video game was Super Mario which I played on my friends home. At that time I didn't have any console. The first console was PS2 but before that console, I started playing on my PC. So, I will say that PC is my lovable platform for gaming.

I think like any other players who play on console and PC. I started with the Mario, Contra and Sonic. Those were some of the good games that I have played. You can see that some games like the FIFA and few others were good enough to start with. Later I got bored with it. And then decided to make use of the console based FPS games.

Do you still remember your first video game? I got my first around 20 years back. It was a small black box that was attached to an old television.

It had a gaming cassette with two wired remotes. It used to be one of my most precious asset. Though now this form of video gaming console is completely outdated I still have it with me.

It is one of a great memory from my childhood.
Hey that's really familiar with the one I had growing up.

I'm a bit like you - I watched a few people play games before I actually got to play one. The very first game that I actually bought with my own money was Pokemon Blue for the Game Boy. I remember counting out all the coins that I had saved on the counter, and having trouble picking them all up to pay for it!

I think we both are talking about the same era. That type of black box was a very famous console of that time. It was a kind of possession one could flaunt and show off. But when compared to today it is simply nothing and just a small useless black box. Though I still have it with me it does not work anymore.

My first game was either Defenders or Maze Craze on the Atari 2600. I don't remember which, for sure, but both of them were games I played a lot as a small child. Defenders was really difficult for me because the Atari joysticks were stiff and I was only five so I wasn't dexterous enough to really manipulate them well. I remember being fascinated by the sounds that game made.

My first video game was Nintendo and the first game I played on it was Super Mario. Before that I did have some handheld consoles but I wouldn't count those brick style gaming consoles.

My console was my favorite then. I still have it functional. I occasionally play some games but not more. Just to give tribute to it.

I never enjoyed playing with joysticks. They simply never appealed to me. With the PC it was always either the keyboard or the mouse and when playing on a console it was the remote. Even as I grew up I had problems in controlling my movements with a joystick.

According to my parents it was some weird elmo DOS game.

The first game I can actually, clearly remember is Contra for the NES. I never got past the first level until many years later.

I've never liked them outside of proper arcades either. There's always something wrong with them. They are calibrated too sensitive, or not sensitive enough. There's a dead zone. The stick is either too stiff or too loose. Having said that, one of the few gaming related accessories I've never had is a proper arcade stick. I've heard people who are heavily into the fighting game scene that they are super high quality these days but you have to drop almost $200 on them! Since I'm not all that into fighting games it just doesn't seem worth it.
