Baldur's gate, Icewind dale, Dragon age, Diablo 1 and 2, Command and Conquer, Fallout, Mass effect.

I have a lot of favorite series growing up and I will probably add more to my list of favorites. Diablo 1 was ahead of its time when it launched. There was nothing even remotely close to it. and being able to play with 4 of your friends on an adventure is epic and fun. PvP is quite fun as it rewards you with an ear of your slain friend/enemy and just tossing it out of your inventory for additional insult. Command and Conquer has really good cut scenes and what I remember in the series is Kane from Nod getting wiped by an ion cannon.

For me, it is Mass Effect, original trilogy. Since it has everything I like in it, the gameplay, characters, music, environment... To me, the most important thing that game has to have is gameplay. I don't mid the graphics and other stuff that much. Sure it is a plus if it has that great too but it is not necessary. I also liked Assassin's Creed but they have gone too far now with all the sequels.

God of War and Twisted Metal series! God of War is just amazing for me, the storyline, the gore, everything is just so badass! And as for Twisted Metal, I understand that each game has it's own story but I've grown attached to the characters over time, and specially how the game evolved throughout the years. I'm hoping they release a new Twisted Metal game soon too, it's been a while since the last one.

I'd say for me it's Silent Hill and Resident Evil. Lot of interesting characters and story plot. I enjoyed most of the old and new series of the game. I have found that some of the games in the series don't have much addiction. But it's just that these games are good for the casual playing. I'd prefer those games for the weekend play.

Used to be Skyrim and the Elder Scrolls games, but with Bethesda's agenda of paid mods, I prefer the Witcher franchise now. The game devs treat their players right by creating amazingly detailed games that have a large area and great replay value. They don't overcharge their players with useless DLCs, and their main DLCs are actually really well done.

I love the Uncharted series, it is very nice and the story is a lot of mysterious and easy to play, it is like a new Indiana Jones that have a lot more fun and weapons, it is the best game series for me.

Resident evil, despite my anguish at what the series has become. Even if RE5 was a muddled mess, many of the prior entries are still some of my favorite games of all time, and RE2 is most likely my absolute favorite game of all time.

The Legend of Zelda is definitely a very good game. It is one among the best action adventure game. I really love the visuals, environment and characters in this game. I find the characters to be unique. I also liked the soundtrack in this game.

The first video games series I really enjoyed was Half Life. Phenomenal story, and the world was fascinating to explore and play through. In addition to Half Life, I've found that I adore the Mass Effect series as well as the Elder Scrolls series. Mass Effect for the choose-your-own path style of FPS game, and the Elder Scrolls for an open world, in depth character development RPG style game.

RE7 is actually pretty great. I've been a fan since RE: Survivor, then first played RE3, then Code Veronica, RE4, RE5, RE6 (didn't even finish this one), and the latest one. RE7 is more in tune with the old RE games in terms of survival horror, and it's not just a shoot-em-up like what the last 2 games (and the smaller RE games in-between them like Revelations or whatever) and you can actually be afraid of going into rooms again since there's very scarce ammo and guns, while the enemies can take damage and the best course of action is to just run from them to conserve ammo.

This is awesome too, did you played it until the end? if no, then you loste a huge fun and excitement and sometimes make you live the fear. And the other good thing about it si the puzzles, ohhh it make the game more fun and challenge.

My #1 favourite video game series would have to be the uncharted series. It was the first real video game I got when I turned 12. And ever since then I've almost been playing the series religiously.

I have to say it will always be the Metal Gear Solid franchise. Not only the gameplay for each game was exciting, but what makes it so special and worth playing is the story in the game. The games are connected strongly by the game and you would be missing out on a lot of the story if you haven't played one part of the series. There is underlying motif for each game. I see the game itself as a novel because of how well the story was written. I am thankful for Mr. Kojima for writing such wonderful series.
