I'll say PC because I don't own a console. I really want to buy one, because I'm sure that's a different experience that I NEED to try in my life.

Console, definitely! Maybe it's because that's just what I'm used to. But I like everything about the console gaming over the PC gaming

It really depends you know. I don't think it's feasible to play an fps game with a console. These games are really meant to be played with a mouse and a keyboard. Also, when it comes to the console, I prefer to play rpg games so, it really depends. I would buy both and still would upgrade my pc hardware. I mean, I really don't want to be left behind.

Even though I'm a PC gamer, I actually don't think that PCs will ever take over console gaming. I feel this for two reasons, and they have to do with price and convenience. Most consoles have a price point which is fairly manageable for most consumers' budgets. They come prebuilt, and are guaranteed to run every game they say they will. On the other hand, prebuilt gaming PCs are often far more expensive. One would argue that ordering the parts and assembling it yourself would be much cheaper (which is true) but do you really think the average person is willing to learn in the ins and outs of PC hardware, when they could just buy something cheaper and ready to play?

It's only logical that the easier, cheaper choice is going to be the dominant one.

I would go for PC, mainly because of costs. Buying a new console and buying the subscription for online adds up over time, and then you don't even have the games yet. You can buy a good quality gaming PC for a similar price that is able to run most games on good settings. You don't have to pay for an online subscription and you can often pick up games on a sale, saving you even more money.

Judging on the easy upgradability of PC's components like graphic cards, memory capacities, processors and the flexibility of the games themselves I will have to go with PC on this one. You'll only have to purchase the PC once afterwards only have to think of upgrades when required.

Even though I like PC better, I don't think that the consoles are going to die anytime soon. The good thing about the consoles is that, you buy a console, and you get what you get. No need for upgrades, no need for improving anything, you can play every new game that comes out. Which is not the case for the PC. Especially not today. Of course you have to buy a new model of the console when it comes out but, it doesn't come out every year so, it's not that bad. Still, I would choose PC over consoles anyway, but I see why people like consoles better.

How about both? I play on my PS3 and i play on my PC, of course both have their own advantages, console have the avantage of exclusivity, and PC the advantage of customization.

I think that both are great, the way that the console make you feel like in the old days with the dualshock, but the PC gaming has advanced in an incredible way that this has the best graphics, more games, it is faster that the consoles. But really if you tell me that I have to choose I would choose the PC because even if they don't have a gamepad you can buy one and config your PC to make your experience better!

It really depends on what game do you want to play. I can't say "PC gaming is so much better" because PC doesn't have a lot of my favorite games, although I am a PC gamer. I can't play the Twisted Metal series or God of War series in my PC because it's Playstation exclusive. Same way as how Playstation users can't play Halo. Although I would definitely trade Halo anytime for either of those two games I just mentioned.

I think none of them are any better or less than one another. Each one of them have their pros and cons. It's just that some of the time we have to go with the one that we can afford. Some people can afford console and some people like me have to play on shared console time. So it depends on what you can do with the given option.

I like the convenience of my console, 99% of the time i can play any video game available for my PS4 knowing it will just work with minimal slowdown. If i had a PC, I'd always be wondering whether it could handle the games i want to play and if it couldn't, I'd have to spend time and money upgrading parts...

I think it should. People use the PC anyway to answer their emails, do work, play music; just make the controllers compatible with the games (which most already are) and have the exclusives from consoles be available on PCs, and you'll have yourself one machine to play them all. Pretty convenient too, and the only perk from consoles I see is that you can play multiplayer on a big screen TV, but I'm sure you can do that in the PC too if you try.

Console for me definitely. I grew up playing with consoles and it just has this natural fit to it. Like a custom made body suit.

I'll have to go with console's on this topic. I just feel that console's have a longer longevity than PC's. Not only are they much cheaper to buy, they also don't require constant upgrades.

Both PC and Consoles have their own good points and advantages but I will always prefer PC since a lot of games that I play are not on consoles. I'd play console only if the games I have can be played in splitscreen. Because of Steam for PC, games are easier to access and purchase. There are even reviews from the people who are evaluating whether to buy a game or not. Although consoles do have online shops for games wherein they could download digital copies of the game they purchased, there is just much more available games for the PC of different varieties.

The choice varies from person to person. Some find it comfortable on a PC whereas some prefer a console.

I would go for a console only because of the comfort of gaming associated with it.

I don't do much gaming, but when I do, I use the Wii. Therefore, In that case, the PC is used only for other stuff. Nonetheless, in the past, I have played some fun poker machine games.

Anyway, I might like to get into PC gaming eventually, as I want to get a gaming computer to do 3D art creation.

I prefer PC's since they are customisable (with the upgrading of hardware parts and whatnot) but to a casual gamer, they would probably prefer a console. A console is an all in one package. After buying it, games would work on it, no need to do anything else. Performance-wise, PCs are better (provided you have high-end hardware) and PCs double as a tool you can use for something else like for work. But if you want a no-brainer play, go with a console.
