The only Halo that I don't own is Halo Wars, I rented but but I hated it. But yeah I still have halo 1 and 2, I play them sometimes on my old original xbox if I get the chance. They are still great games.

I still own and play Halo 1 on the PC casually, but not Xbox. I have all the Bungie Halo games from Halo 2 to Reach on Xbox, though I don't play consoles anymore.

I still have Halo 2 for the PC but I have not played it to be honest as I spend a lot more time on my Xbox 360 over my PC for gaming.

Yep.

Just had a Halo 2 tourney with some friends the other day, still as fun as day 1!

Yup, I still have the first Halo: Combat evolved on my PC, its one of my favorite games of all time and I still keep playing it now and then. I still feel the playing experiencs of that Halo was slightly better than playing the new Halos and that's why I've kept it.

I still have Halo 1 and 2 on the xbox there great games

I wish! I remember pre ordering those games when they first came out. I would literally sit with my ex and play them from beginning to end in one sitting. I'd love to get my hands on them again.

Oh yes, I am pretty sure that I have all of them somewhere around here. I know that I bought all of them, except Halo Wars, so unless I gave them away without remembering they should be here. I cannot say that I play the really old ones, but I have trouble getting rid of things and for some reason I can see myself playing them one day...although it may be me justifying my hoarding like tendencies.

I have both the original Halo: Combat Evolved game and I also got the anniversary edition that re vamped all graphics, so it had the look of Halo 3 with the original game play, story and voice acting of the original game, I also believe that it has some other addition to the levels but I don't know and I will never know because that disc decided to die on me, it was somehow scratched or damaged because I left it out of the box and out of the blue the Xbox decided to not play it anymore. That was an incredible waste of money.

Halo holds a very special place in my heart. I still have the copies of the original games. I remember playing multiplayer matches 10v10. Oh man, good old days. This is one of those games like Half-Life that never get's old. The experience really had such an impact that there's never been another Halo in my life.

I still have Halo 3,2, CE, and ODST(if you considered these games old based on the date of this thread)

Always going to be loved classics for me :)

Yeah I've got every Halo through 4. They lost me after that, which is insane because growing up I was a gigantic Halo fan. I read all the books and had shirts and memorabilia and even bought the Legendary editions of 3 and Reach, but Halo 4 was just so "blah" for me that I couldn't go back to the franchise after that. I still play 1, 2, and Reach when I can though, those were my favorites.

You are not alone, almost everybody feels the same, and, apparently, Halo 5 is even worse for what I've heard. They also lost me at Halo 4, that was nothing more than a cash grab, that game had no soul especially after the main story arc was so beautifully concluded in Halo 3. After Bungie left, the magic was gone.

Huh, I came in to remark that I've got every game up through ODST on discs still and how much I enjoyed playing Legendary with my father back in the early 2000s. (He bought Halo 2 on release day and doesn't even recall doing it now).

I learn that Halo 4 - which has been sitting on my 360 hard drive unplayed along with Reach - was apparently a fanbase breaker. That's disappointing as I also enjoyed the books and expanded universe quite a bit. Funnily enough that might push me to finish Reach (I didn't have an HDTV when I first got it which made it borderline unplayable).

What exactly did Halo 4 do, anyway? Try to make a connection to the expanded universe and botch it?

No, but I wish I did. Guess I'll have to wait until the Master Chief Collection gets released on PC ;)

I don't but since I haven't owned a Halo I guess I should start there. I don't get the Halo craze but it's still alive and well. So might as well give it a chance.

Old Halo's are the best, especially when you and your best friend were battling it out and when you own them they accuse you of "screen cheating", but I have the Xbox 360 and Halo 3. So when I'm bored, I'll pop in Halo 3 and reminisce all the old memories I had playing it as a pre-teen. Halo 3 is my favorite game as I've never gotten into any of the other Halo's in the series. But if you still have the 360, I'd suggest playing Halo 3.

I think I played one of the old Halo games as a kid. I can't remember much, but I thought the space themed shooter was not for me, since I preferred modern weapons and swords to futuristic stuff like lasers and alien blasters. The driving part was great though, and I can't help wonder what happened to the story afterwards (I hear it's still one big story from the first one), so the fans of the game must have had a wild ride all the way to the newer games.

I remember Halo 3 being my most favourite out of all the Halo games and I still own that one now but have not gone back to play it in a while. I do also own the Master Chief Collection, so I guess you can say that because I own that game I own just about all the Halo games still. Would love to play through every Halo from start to finish as I never had the opportunity having started from Halo 3 on wards.
