Arc Warden is out!

With a week since 6.86 and Arc Warden was ported into DotA 2, what are your thoughts of the hero? He's currently sitting at one of the lowest winrates (http://www.dotabuff.com/heroes/arc-warden , a measly 38%), but I've seen some games where he really crushes the enemy, like in the video below.


Abusing the midas cooldown and divine rapier damage on his clone without any risk looks pretty broken to be honest. Do you think that the hero needs nerfs?

This hero is just sad. Considering his lore and background, his overall impact and abilities in the game are more than underwhelming. Turns out that the only one in the universe who is powerful enough to bind the dire and the radiant entities is just some agi type that relies so much on attack rate. It's obvious to me that the creators didn't think this one through that much. And look at his appearance, jeez.. He looks like an astronaut/alien something. Sorry.

In 2017 I think he's still one of the more complicated heroes to play (like Meepo), but with good hands on the player, he can become an unstoppable damage and map control machine. It is a shame that he is not chosen so much in professional games, perhaps, professional players, do not know how to control his power yet.

I don't agree with you on this one. This hero is pretty cool. I have been spamming this hero to increase my MMR and it is doing a pretty good job. You just have to know how to use him. There is actually a video explaining the lore of this hero. I believe it was SirActionSlacks who explained it.

About his appearance, it's just how it goes. It's not true that the devs did not think it through. Everytime they are releasing a new hero or item, they are spending so much time making important details on how the hero or item will impact the game.

Try to watch some pro players play Arc Warden. You might love the hero instead.
