How much are your Steam Games worth?

So that value diminishes the more I play the game? Say I play 30 hours of a $60. I'd have to really enjoy it to play 30 hours, but the value is now at $2 an hour. Funny how that works haha

I'm using SteamDB to count it. I love how the button says 'Get disappointed in your life'. How very fitting. Anyway, I did it and apparently my total account value is only $34. $11 total cost with sales. $2.43 average price, and 1,113 hours on record with 101.2 hours average play time. I'm not even going to bother to include a screenshot because that's just embarrassing. I feel really cheap. Not a nice feeling. Since when did Left 4 Dead 2 cost 3 dollars? Are the numbers lowered because of the Steam Halloween sale? Some of the numbers are unusually low and I remember spending way more on them.

Probably. I vividly remember my overall being somewhere around $11k and now it's at $9k. It's got to be the sales.

Most of the games that I play are under 200. And also the amount of money I am putting into from here onwards is going to decrease. I have wasted enough money on some games which I am not replaying anymore. These days I am mostly hunting with the humble bundle and the free games on steam. I don't want to spend much time wasting more money.

Under a 100 even at full price. Most of the game I bought at a discount, usually around 50% discount and up, on the games. I am quite surprised some people even have over $5k on their accounts.

By SteamGauge, my games are worth $1092.31, but a brief tally of the many sales involved reduces my wallet to $708 spent, over 3 years. Half my library contains Free To Play games or obtained free during promotions or giveaways. Definitely, too many lunch money dollars spent on in-game currency.
